Blow Out the Candles

Time for another Tuesday share with Marcia of The Frolicking Fairy. As promised in my Live last month, I created a cute jar card/tag using the wee little puffer fish from I Puff You. I think he is just too darn cute swimming in his little jar home, don't you?

I watercolored the wee puffer the lightly inked up the jar and water panel with Distress Oxide inks. I spritzed the water panel with water for added interest and assembled the jar. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the jar using VersaFine black ink. To complete the jar tag/card, I adhered the tag with twine to the top of the jar, cut from silver shimmer cardstock, and added a foam dot beneath to hold the tag in place.

Until next time..

Birthdays Blow!

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!
Stacey here with you today and I used some of those awesome
Jaded Blossom Stamps and Dies to create a fun birthday card that showcases the Monthly Spotlight stamp set for January....I Puff You!

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I created a square card by folding a piece of 5"x 10" white cardstock in half to form a top folding card that measures 5" square. I used the Scallop Square Dies to die cut my orange patterned paper and layered that on top of my card base. Next I used the Triangle Square Mat Die and cut it out twice, once from white cardstock and then again from some wave print patterned paper. I adhered that onto my card base and moved on to that adorable Puffer fish!! I stamped that fish from the I Puff You stamp set onto a piece of white cardstock and did some Copic coloring. I used the Stitched Circle Dies to cut it out and then I very carefully cut along one of his fins. I popped up my image piece with some foam tape and die cut a balloon from the Balloon Dies. I added some string to my balloon and made sure to place it under his fin to give the appearance of him holding it. So cute! I heat embossed my greeting and added some white Nuvo drops to complete my card.

How fun!!

Hi Crafty Friends,

For today's blog project I wanted to use our

I thought the Bread Tag Die was the perfect tag to use to attach to the bath scrubby.
Won't this make a cute addition to a gift of body wash and lotion?

For this project I used:

Martha Stewart Glitter Marker
Copic Markers - BG32, BG34, R21, BG13, BG15

"I Puff You" Stamps

Hi everyone! This is Tina from The Scrappin Rabbit blog and I have a couple cards to share featuring the monthly spotlight stamp "I Puff You".

First I stamped, embossed and colored up these cuties with Copics. Using the Scallop Slider & Topper Die, I cut out the panel, colored it using Distress Inks and added water splatter. I stamped and embossed the sentiments from the Make Waves stamps.

The card layers are cut from the Card Mat Dies and Scallop Rectangle Dies 2. For embellishments I added some clear bubble glass droplets, Doodlebug Design heart sprinkles and some Nuvo crystal drops.

Finally I added some freckles and sparkle to the adorable puffer fish and popped him up with foam tape.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day :)
Here is what I used:
