Bee My Valentine

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun treat box to share.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner, so I made this special for a friend.

I started this project with the Scallop Caddy Die and cut it out.
I cut out a simple white piece for the center and used the Border Dies to add in the stitching lines to the top and bottom.
I cut the bee girl from the SVG Cutting Files Cute As Can Bee file and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Rosies Favorites face stamp.
I stamped and paper pieced the balloon from the Valentine Panels and added it to her hand instead of the flower she originally had.
I stamped the sentiment to the side using the Pugs and Kisses stamp set, added a button with twine bow, and pop dotted the bee girl to the box.
To finish, I added some paper shred to the inside of the box along with some candy. I cut the covers using the Candy Wrap Dies and stamped the designs with the Valentine Wraps and Light's Camera Action stamp sets.

I hope you all liked my project and thanks for visiting! Have a great day!

I Love You Tag!

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share a fun tag with you!

I used one of the bags the stamps come in to cut the Luggage Tag Die. (I keep my stamps in binders so I don't need those bags) They I used the Fuse Tool to seal the bottom and 2 sides. I cut the arrow paper with the inner layer of the tag and used an Oval Die with some pink paper. Last I added Alphabet Dies and put the tag inside the plastic tag, filled with some sequins and fused the last 3 sides.

Valentine Gable Box

Top of the Tuesday morning to you!!!

It's Melissa from M Miranda Creations and today is my day to post here on the Jaded Blossom blog. I have a cute gable box to share using a technique that I have never tried before - stamping on canvas.

I took a kraft gable box and cut a red canvas sheet to make some panels for the sides. Before adhering them, I used some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped on the design to the canvas using the new Heart Splatters stamp set. I then took the Luggage Tag Dies and cut the back layer using a sheet of kraft paper and cut the top layer using the red canvas again. I took another stamp from the same Heart Splatters stamp set and again stamped a background. Then I stamped the heart from the same set onto another piece of kraft paper and fussy cut around it. I adhered it to the tag with pop dots. The love sentiment was die cut from the new Alphabet Dies and glued on to finish off the tag and then it was tied to the top of the box. I also added a sentiment to the box using the Simple Sayings Valentine Edition stamps. This is a great box to stuff with chocolate treats or a small gift. And I am so glad that the stamping on canvas was a success for me. Yeah!!! I really like how it turned out.

This is my last day as a guest designer for Jaded Blossom, it has been really fun working with these girls.  For my project I made this super fun owl bag from cricut.  I used the You're a Hoot stamp set for the sentiment.  I really love owls so this stamp set is a must have, it has so many cute sentiments on it to go with owls.

Owls love Conversation Hearts

Hello! Mel from Doxie Mel Designs with a new project for you. I love the newly released You're a Hoot stamp set and wanted to create another project. The owl is from Cricut, Create a Critter. I embossed her heart shaped wings with the Swiss Dot Cuttlebug Folder. Jaded Blossom's Stitched Square die was placed behind the owl. The treat bag is Jaded Blossom's Goody Bag Die. I added a handle with the stitched oval die. You can also see the candy inside :)

Here is a closer look at the Stitched Oval cut in the Goody Bag. The tag is a die from the Card Mat Die set.

Jaded Blossom
You're A Hoot - sentiment

Thanks a Bunch!!

Hi everyone...Lee-Ann here...it's my day to post here at the Jaded Blossom blog...YAY!!! I made 2 cards and a treat bag using a technique from a Jennifer McGuire video. Lovin' the water colour look with a bleed! Basically you stamp the outline image in water proof ink...then stamp the solid image with distress ink...and then spray the image with a mister to allow the ink to bleed. Super easy and quick! Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :)
