Calling all BBQ Kings!

Hello! Mel here with a fun gift card box idea for you.  I just added the "King of the BBQ" stamp set to my collection. This stamp set is on sale for the month of April. Today is the last day for the sale! Inspired by my new stamps, I made a BBQ gift card holder.  The base of the BBQ could be filled with candy or a small gift too.

Here is a close up of the tag from mini tag dies 2 on the BBQ.  The hot dog and hamburger are from Doodlebug Designs, Picnic Ants.  These are so cute! (the kinda cute that makes you NOT want to use them.. ha ha)

The spatula and oven mitt are Jaded Blossom Dies, Baking Dies. I stamped "Kiss the Cook" on the oven mitt.

The gift card was adhered with double sided tape inside the lid.

Jaded Blossom
sentiments - King of the BBQ
oven mitt, spatula - Baking Dies
square die cut - Card Mat Dies
hot dog, hamburger - Doodlebug Designs, Picnic Ants Sprinkle Shapes

extras
Grill Gift Card Holder, Meghan Hardy, Silhouette Design Store
steaks on the grill, Lisa Norris, Silhouette Design Store
Pattern paper, Doodlebug Designs, Patriotic Picnic

Thanks for checking out my project today.
Have a wonderful day!

BBQ

Hi everyone! It's Candace from Candi O. Designs and it's my day over at Jaded Blossom and I am sharing a project I made using the Monthly Spotlight stamp set, King of the BBQ.

This is such a fun stamp set! There are so many possibilities with it and with the BBQ season getting in full swing, what better set to have!!!

I used the Angle Treat Box for the base from SVG Cutting Files, scaling it to fit these seasoning mixes I bought. I added a "handle" to the back of the box with the oval die cut from Mini Tag Dies 2 and then tied a tag with a sentiment from this stamp set.  I stamped the BBQ Bear on the SVG Outline that matches this set, colored him with copics, then cut out the original flipper in his hand and added the die cut one from Baking Dies.  I also used the cookie sheet and oven mitt from the Baking Dies to add another sentiment from this set.  The Picnic Sprinkles from Doodlebug where the perfect touch ~ love the burger!!
Perfect little gift for that BBQ'er in your life!

I hope you all liked my project for today and don't forget to get your own King of the BBQ stamp set at a great price this month!

Going Bananas for Bananas Bread!

Happy Monday!! It's Barb from BugBites here and I have a recipe page I did using some awesome JB products. I love trying new recipes and if they are good ones, I love to crap them. I have 5 recipe albums now with 8x8 recipe pages in.

This is a new banana bread recipe we've been trying in our house and I think it's a keeper.

My recipe page is 8"x8".
I added a tag line across the top using the Jaded blossom Baked with Love stamps and  added hearts form the Birthday DiesThe spatula chef monkey is holding can be found in the Baking Dies set.

Chef Monkey  is a mash up of  the Sock Monkey Mayem and What's Cooking svg files from SVG Cutting Files along with the Kawaii Banana file. Its banana bread after all.

Have a crafty day!!

I cut the lion from the SVG Cutting Files Heart Mane Lion file and added him to the front on pop dots.
I cut the sentiment banner using the Flag Dies 2 and stamped the sentiment from the Best Friends stamp set.
To finish, I cut wrappers for the candies using the Candy Wrap Dies and stamped them with the Animal Print Designer Tapes

Love Is Brewing

Good Morning! It's Sara from Design a Party by Sara and today is my day to share a project with you and I am so excited to finally show you what I have been working on!
A very good friend of mine is getting married in June and this past weekend was her Bridal Shower. Her theme was a Tea Party, SERIOUSLY, how fun is that! Knowing her and knowing how much she loves different and homemade items, I knew I wanted to make her something special that she would love and cherish. She is also a photographer so I thought she could even use the items in a photo shoot as well.
I started searching for the perfect paper. I knew I wanted something elegant and pretty. I already had the perfect kits, they were from SVG Cuts. They are Honeybee Tea and Tea For You and Me. I decided to go with the same paper collection that Mary from SVG Cuts used in the Honeybee Tea kit. It was just too perfect all around. I used the same patterns that she did for my teapot too. The paper collect is from Graphic 45, Botanical Tea. I have never used their paper before. But I fell in love with it. It cuts so nicely and is even more pretty in person!

The teapot is from the Honeybee Tea kit. The lid comes off too so you could add some kind of treats or even a little gift.
The teacup and spoon are from the tea for you and me kit

The tag is cut from the Treat Tag Die
The tea dispenser box is from tea for you and me kit
For the hat box I did use a third kit from SVG cuts it is Dress Shop. These 12x12 layout papers from Graphic 45 are great for the top panel of the hat box or even a giftbag. I had to use it, it is too pretty not to.

I cut all of my pieces out and assembled everything. I spent about one week to make everything and just did little bits at a time.
I made a tag from the Jaded Blossom Treat Tag Die and cut out the cup from the Baking Dies. Then punched out the Sweetest Couple sentiment from the Wedding Candies set and added it to a Candy Charm and Banner die.  I cut out a banner from the Dimensional Banner Dies and stamped the Love is Brewing sentiment from the Perfect Match stamp set. I tied it onto the teapot handle with some tulle that I had in my stash. I couldn't leave the teacup empty so I added some kisses to it with the Wedding Candies on the bottom.
I also added flowers from my stash.

I hope you enjoyed my project today.
~Sara~

I can't believe that April is almost over.  Boy this month has really gone by fast.  Well, today is my last project as a Guest Designer with Jaded Blossom.  And you know I just HAD to do something with those colorful rainbows!!!  Hee!

I made 25 of these little cuties for an upcoming Copic Boot Camp that I am attending.  You can't be crafty without chocolate right?!?  ;)   I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Goody Bag Die and the fun polka dot cardstock for each bag is from Core-dinations.  For the yummy chocolates, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Candy Charms & Banners and the Jaded Blossom ~ Pattern Candies and Jaded Blossom ~ Dream In Color.  The inks for the candies are Hero Arts Shadow Inks ~ Red Royal, Orange Soda, Butter Bar, Green Hills, Pool, Soft Purple and Bubblegum.

To decorate the fun goody bags, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Treat Tag Die.  The rainbow is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Rainbow Seeds and I colored that in using Copic Sketch Markers.  I cut the white tag with the Jaded Blossom ~ Mini Tag Dies 2 and the sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Dream In Color.  I also added some Star Dust ~ Stickles to the clouds for a little sparkle.

Sea Shells and Sea Star

Hello Everyone! Mel here with a new project for you today.  My kids had last week off and we spent a day at the beach. I was still in "beach mode" and reached for Jaded Blossom's new Tropical Dies to make these lip balm holders. The shells and sea star are so pretty. (I used to call them star fish until I got schooled at the aquarium and was told they are sea stars.)

Here is a closer look at the top.  The stamps are from Tropical Candies and are on a candy charm die.

Orange You the Best!

Hi everyone! It's Candace from Candi O. Designs and it's my day over at Jaded Blossom and I am sharing a treat holder I made with the lollipop die ~ love this die and how universal it really is!  You can use it for many different projects, not just for lollipops!!

I placed a Kool-Aid drink package inside the die, folded up the front flap and decorated the front. I used the medium square die from the Card Mat Dies for the pattern paper front and then to keep this closed, I wrapped twine around the top. Love this die as a pocket treat!!
To "plug up" the hole so to speak at the back of the lollipop die, I used the circle tag from Mini Tag Dies 2, stamped with the circle "thank you" from Birthday Candies 2 and stuck it on ~ voila!!
Products Used:
Jaded Blossom: Lollipop Die
Peachy Keen Stamps: Kawaii Face Assortment
Orange Cut: Silhouette Online Store
Paper: Jillibean Soup and Bo Bunny
Mini Clothes pin, Twine, Enamel dots and sequin

I hope I've inspired you with some of  Jaded Blossoms goodies!!!  Have a great day!!

King of the BBQ!

Happy Monday!! It's Barb from BugBites and I have a fun summer project today using this months featured stamp set, King of the BBQ.

There are many BBQ's in the future for all for this summer. A great bottle of wine or 6 pack of beer is a perfect gift for the hosting grill master.
I added a BBQ themed tag to my host gift using the JB Wine Tag die.

I went back to my cricut cartridges to find the hot dog and Apron. The cuts can be found Block Party Cricut Cartridge.

The sentiment of course is from the King of the BBQ stamp set.

Have a crafty day!
