Holy Shitake! It's Your Birthday!

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun card to share. I made this card for my FIL's birthday. He happens to love gnomes so I knew he'd get a kick out of it!

I love the NEW Paint Splatter 2 stamp set! They can make such cool backgrounds!
I started this card with a standard A2 card base and added the white mat cut with the Card Mat Dies.
I used the Paint Splatters 2 and stamped the designs onto the background.
I stamped and colored the gnome from the Gnomies Forever stamp set and mounted him to a mat cut using the insert piece from the Goody Bag Die. I also added a piece of ribbon around mat and stamped the sentiment from the Gnomies Forever stamp set.

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Camera Mini Album with Kitty

Hello Everyone! Mel with a new project for your today.   My daughter has been wanting a kitty cat for a long time. She wanted a kitty that likes to snuggle.. and she lucked out! I was sorta warning her that kitties like to "do their own" thing.  Rusty just adores her :)  Here is a little mini book I made for her. I used Jaded Blossom's Mini Tag Dies 2 and the spotlight stamp set, Picture This. I really like to make mini books but not a fan of my own journaling. The stamps in "Picture This" are fun captions to add to any photos.

The shaped album fits in this "camera sleeve".

I cut this girl holding the kitty to look like my gal.

Guest Designer, Sherrie!

Hi Everyone!
This is Sherrie from Sherrie Scraps with Passion with a project to share with you.  This will be my last GD project for Jaded Blossom. I had a blast this month creating, especially during the release!!!
Thank you SO much Michelle and Candace for having me~you guys are the best!

Here is the fun stamp set I used for my project~Perfect for this time of year~ a lot of possibilities:

My daughter wanted a thank you card that she could send to their neighbors who have been having them over the past few weekends for bonfires.
Here is what I created:

I used the Nesting Eyelet dies for the base and base layer of my card. The cute little bear is a cut file from Kadoodle Bug Designs called S'more Love.  I added some fun crinkle ribbon and tied a double bow. The banner is Jaded Blossom's Mini Tags Die and I stamped the sentiment with Got S'mores stamp set.

I know she only wanted a card but I had to send along a little treat also, lol!  They have a couple little boys who just love playing with Arya. The kids absolutely love making s'mores... Isn't that the best part of having a bonfire?!!

I made a little s'more kit for the kids. It has everything you need to make a couple s'mores all packaged in a gusset bag. The cute topper is Jaded Blossoms Fancy Topper Die and the holder is a file from SVG Cutting Files~Decorative Edge Box. I used the Mini Tags Die 2 for the banner and the sentiment is again stamped with the Got S'mores stamp set.

Again, thank you SO much Michelle and Candace for having me at Jaded Blossom this month!
Have a great day:

Foxy Birthday Card

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun card to share. I used the Monthly Spotlight stamp set, Picture This, on this fun card.

Isn't this card so fun? I love the bright colors and that cute lil fox!
I cut a standard A2 card base and added the background mats along with the side sentiment banner that I cut with the Card Mat Dies
I cut the frame for the fox using the Layered Frame and Journal Die and stamped the sentiments using the Picture This stamp set. I added a balloon in between the 2 sentiments that I cut with the Birthday Dies and drew in a black line for the string.
I stamped and paper pieced the fox from the Foxy stamp set and gave him a party hat that I cut from the Birthday Dies
To finish, I layered him between the 2 frame pieces and glued it to the card.

I hope you all liked my project for today and don't forget to get your own Picture This stamp set at a great price this month!

Mother's Day Cards and Teacher Gifts!

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here and I have a few projects to share with you today!

First up is 2 Mother's Day Cards I created with the new Paint Splatters 2, World's Greatest Parents , Card Mat Dies and Spring Dies 2!

I used this awesome Ombre Ink from Hero Arts to get the effect with the paint splatters!

Then I added a few butterflies in different shades teal and pink to the cards with some rhinestones. And added the sentiment last!

Next I have a few Teacher Gifts I made-

I used the Candy Candy Die and added a pack of the large Smarties to the tray inside. Then I stamped a sentiment from Teacher Appreciation to a Mini Tag Die 2. I used some of Tape Measure Washi from our Fun Extras sections on the front and pop dotted the cute little glue bottle!

I found this poem online and printed it, then I cut it out using the Luggage Tag Die.

I attached the tag to a 6" tube filled with M&M's!

Paris Theme Birthday Party

Good Morning, it's Sara here with Design a Party by Sara and it is my day to share a project with you and I decided to share a party that I created.
My daughter just had her 8th birthday and she had a Paris theme. She loves Paris and is hoping to visit soon. I told her she better start saving now!
I really couldn't go too over board like I normally do. Just too much going on right now. But I was very happy with how it turned out.
She didn't want a big cake so we decided to just do cupcakes with cupcake toppers.
Her favorite candies are the chocolate kisses so we made simple favors using those and I let her pick one game and made cute prizes for the winners.
So here's what I made........

 Cupcake Toppers

Prizes for the cotton ball game

Favors for her party guests

I had so much fun creating her party for her. Of course she is a girly girl and wanted pink and black. I think it turned out perfectly and she said she had a wonderful time, the best birthday ever.

For the cupcake toppers I used the Eiffel Towers and they are from SVG Attic. The 8 is stamped out from the  Number Candies.

For the prize gifts I used the Gusset Bag and the Dainty Topper Die and the Big Winner sentiment is from Game Night . I added some basket filler to the bottom of the bag and then added the cute little prize. The girls had so much fun playing the game. We played twice so there were two winners.
Cotton Ball Game
What You need.......
2 Large bowls
1 Bag of Cotton Balls
Large Spoon
Blind Fold

How To Play
The child sits with the blind fold on and one bowl in there lap filled with all of the cotton balls. I pulled the cotton balls apart so they weren't so clumped together. Another child holds the empty bowl on top of the child playing, head.  Using the spoon, the blind folded child scoops the cotton balls onto the spoon and has to put them into the bowl on top of their head. Each child gets 3 scoops. The point of the game is to get the most cotton balls into the bowl on top of your head. It's a lot harder then it sounds and it is a lot of fun. The girls had a blast playing.

For the favors I used the Clear Purses and the Dainty Topper Die. I folded the clear handle on the purse down and taped it and then added my topper.  The Thanks For Celebrating With Us sentiment is from the Birthday Candies.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today and I have inspired your next party.

~Sara~
