Black Widow

It's Tuesday!!! Yay! It's Melissa from M Miranda Creations and I get to share a project with you today using goodies from Jaded Blossom!

I was in Kansas City two weekends ago to see my niece graduate which was awesome and while I was there my brother, husband, and I took her to Planet Comicon! We had a great time and saw lots of incredible art of all our favorite super heroes and Anime. And seeing it all got me in the mood to make another Super Hero card. So this time I made a card with Black Widow.

For my card, I used Card Mat Dies and Super Hero!

Thanks for letting me share with you today!

REMEMBER

Hello everyone!  This is Cassandra from Creating with Color by Cassandra.  And as it is Memorial Day - it's also a special day to remember those who have died while serving our country.

I know that many of you will be honoring your loved ones today by visiting their final resting place.  Here is a simple idea to add an extra special touch to all of those lovely flowers.  I cut these tags using the Jaded Blossom ~ Luggage Tag Dies.  I embossed the backgrounds using the Stars ~ Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. I cut the yellow ribbons using the Jaded Blossom ~ Awareness Ribbon Dies.  The banner is cut using the Jaded Blossom ~ Mini Tag Dies 2.  And the sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom ~ School Rules.

Well my creative friends, that's it for me today.  A simple "thank you" is never enough, but to all those who have served and to all of the loved ones who supported them . . . THANK YOU.

Guest Designer, Kathy

Hello all you Jaded Blossom Fans!!
It has been such a blast being a guest designer for
Jaded Blossom this month.  I am so sad that it has
come to an end.  Today I am sharing my final project.

So for my final project, I wanted to use
the Jaded Blossom Roses Stamp.
I have been wanting to try watercoloring,
so I tried coloring up a couple of these beautiful Roses

I stamped the roses and leaves
onto watercolor cardstock using Versamark.
I used sparkle embossing powder and my heat gun.
Then I colored them in using  my
Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers and a waterbrush.

As I was coloring the roses in, I thought, what Sentiment
will I use??  Well a friend from church recently lost
her son, so I thought I would make her a sympathy card

I heat embossed the sentiment with White Embossing Powder.
I finished my card with a little twine and some sequins.
I also used Card Mat Dies for the background piece
and sentiment label.

I have really enjoyed reading all your wonderful
comments and want to thank Candace and Michelle
for having me as a guest designer!!

Graduation Cards

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a set of quick cards I made up to share with you. For some reason, High School Graduation ALWAYS sneaks up on me and I have no cards! So I wanted to share with you all a super quick, but cool, grad card I made with my Jaded Blossom supplies. I was able to whip out 5 of these in less than an hour.

I started these with a standard A2 card base and added the white mats cut with the Card Mat Dies
I stamped the background using the Paint Splatters and Paint Splatters 2 stamp sets. Using colored ink is a great way to personalize your cards to your school colors.
I cut the graduation cap from the School Dies and glued it to the center of the card.
To finish, I stamped the sentiments from the School Time Greetings and The Graduate stamp sets.

I hope you all liked my cards and thanks for visiting! Have a great day!

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share a CAS card using the Spotlight Technology Challenged!

I stamped a sentiment from the spotlight onto the Card Mat Die. Then I created the mouse with dies! I started with a Mini Tag Die 2 for the base and buttons(I also used a Stitched Square Die to created the stitched on the bottom of the buttons) Then I used Mustache Dies for the cord and the "roller" piece between the buttons!

You're a Star!

Hope you are enjoying your Tuesday!!! This is Melissa from M Miranda Creations

Today I have a simple card that would be a perfect baby card for a sweet boy! And I'm sure we could find other occasions for it too!

I used the Card Mat Dies and the Superstar stamp set. I also used the Card Front Overlay Stars and the Kawaii Starfish from SVG Cutting Files.

I cut out the background first with my Cameo and then put it through my Cuttlebug with the largest of the Card Mat Dies. I also die cut a piece of yellow cardstock. I then glued both layers together and attached them to the card base. I stamped my sentiment and arranged my stars from the Starfish file on the front attaching them with foam squares.

So glad you came by to have a look!

Hugs,

Got Milk?

Hello everyone!  This is Cassandra from Creating with Color by Cassandra.  I don't know about you, but when I was little I just LOVED milk...especially chocolate milk or strawberry milk!!!  So I was super excited when I found these fun flavored straws the other day.  :)

To make these fun treats, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Scallop Slider & Topper Die.  The milk bottles and sentiments are all from the Jaded Blossom ~ Milk & Cookies (revamp).  For the scallop circles I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Candy Charms & Banners Dies.  And the cute little cows are from the Jaded Blossom ~ Farm Candies.  So YUMMY don't you think?!?!

Well my creative friends, that's it for me today.  I will see you all again soon.  Have a great day everyone!
