Happy Halloween

Hello everyone!  This is Cassandra from Creating with Color by Cassandra.  Every once in awhile I like to see how many products I can use in a project...hee!  And in this set today, I actually used 11 Jaded Blossom products!!!  How fun is that?!?!

All of the solid colors of cardstock are from Papertrey Ink.  And the fun spider web patterned paper is from the Doodlebug Design ~ October 31st collection.

I cut the background with the Jaded Blossom ~ Card Mat Dies.  At the top, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Ticket Book Dies for the label.  The "Oct31" is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Halloween Bingo and the "Happy Halloween" is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Halloween Candy Wraps.  The spooky little spider is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Halloween Dies.  I made the pumpkin using the Jaded Blossom ~ Scallop Circle Dies.  The stem is made with a tag in the Jaded Blossom ~ Mini Tag Dies 2.  And the little leaf is cut with the Jaded Blossom ~ Layered Frame & Journal Dies.  All of the fun words are from the Jaded Blossom ~ Halloween Signs.  And I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Halloween Paint Splatters on the back layers of the pumpkin.  I heat embossed it all with Versamark ~ Watermark Ink and Stampendous ~ Clear Embossing Powder.

This is made with the Jaded Blossom ~ Goody Bag Die.  I did the smaller pumpkin the same way as the larger pumpkin.  And at the top, I used a tag from the Jaded Blossom ~ Mini Tag Dies 2.  And the sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Halloween Candy Wraps.

Well my creative friends, that's it for me today.  I hope you like this fun Halloween card and gift bag set. Have a great day everyone.  I will see you all again soon.

Candy Corn Witch

Hello! Mel from Doxie Mel Designs with a new treat idea.  I love to make Halloween projects so I thought I would get a head start.  Inspired by my daughter's candy corn witch costume, I colored up Alice from Jaded Blossom's Wonderland stamp set to match. The hat is from the Kitty Dress up. She is colored with Copic Markers.

Here is a peek inside the drawer. This base is from SVG Cutting Files, Nugget Easel Drawer Box.

The nugget chocolates are wrapped with candy wrap dies and I found a matching "candy corn" wrap stamp included in the Halloween Candy Wrap stamp set.  The centers are stamps from Spooky Labels.

Copic Markers
Hair- v12, v15, v17, bv08
skin- g21, g24
oranges- yr02, yr18

Halloween Matchbook Treats and Tutorial

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I am sharing some fun Halloween treats along with a short tutorial. These are super easy to make using the Jaded Blossom Dies and they would be so cool to hand out to kids.

I kept the design simple so you can whip these up in no time. You can also change up the colors and add any kind of candy packets you wanted such as M&M's or Reeces Pieces. I chose to work with Skittles.

DIRECTIONS
Cut black cardstock at 3 X 7 1/2 inches
Score at 3 inches and 6 1/2 inches
Place your candy in the cover tucking it under the 1 inch flap. Then you will staple the flap closed catching the candy wrapper in between. Make sure to staple towards the bottom so you are able to tuck your flap in, but also make sure it's high enough so your mat piece covers the staple.

Now you are going to cut your mat pieces and add the decorations.
This turned out to be the PERFECT size to use with the Card Mat Dies.

Cut white with Card Mat Die
Cut second mat at 2 1/2 X 2 1/2 inches.
(I wanted the stitching from the Card Mat Die to show, so I cut mine slightly smaller than the 2 1/2)
For flap cut a 3/4 X 2 3/4 inch

Next I cut out the spiders and webs using the Halloween Dies and glued them on.
The sentiment mat was cut using the Mini Tag Dies 2 and it was matted in black with a
3/4 X 2 3/4 inch piece of black. The sentiment is stamped from the Halloween Candy Wraps.
To finish, I added a punched web to the inside of the cover. I glued it to the candy wrapper (this way it will fit under the flap) placing it under the flap.

And there you have it!
I hope you all liked my project and have inspired you to try  these for yourself!
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Spider Trick or Treat

Hello Everyone! Mel from Doxie Mel Designs  stopping by with a "Spider Treat".  I found these gummy spiders and slid them in a favor bag from Jaded Blossom.  The top of the bag is the NEW topper Die, Scallop Slider & Topper Die.

Here is a close up of the topper. The spider print from the Halloween Candy Wraps is layered behind the spider.. just to add a little more to the spider theme. The web is from the Halloween Dies and cuts so beautifully!  The sentiment, included on Halloween Candy Wraps, is stamped on a banner from Mini Tag Dies 2.
