Best of Cluck

Happy Monday my crafty friends!!
Nicole here today to share some Jaded Blossom crafty inspiration with you.
I created a card for one of my coworkers who is moving on from
our work to a new opportunity.

I used the following Jaded Blossom products on my card -

I was inspired by this pattern paper from the Doodlebug "Down on the Farm" collection.
I colored the image in to match with the background paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Cock-a-doodle-doo!

Marcia on the Jaded Blossom blog today with this fun birthday card. I think it makes a fun masculine card in spite of that doily behind the rooster. (ha!)

I colored this king of the coop with Spectrum Noir TriBlends, mixing my deep red tones with brown for this beautiful shade atop his head and tail. (Never be afraid of what you don't have.. try mixing the colors you DO have and I bet you'll find the perfect thing. xx)

Since I couldn't fit the entire sentiment in a speech bubble without it eating the whole of the card front, I partially stamped the "cock-a-doodle-do" on one of the speech bubbles for the front (making it a wee shorter in length - partial diecutting) and then stamped the sentiment in its entirety within theh card, shadow stamping the rooster behind. I love the warmth of these colors and hope he brings a smile.

Supplies used:
Rise and Shine
Word Bubble Dies
Doily Dies
Rectangle Dies 1
Sunburst Card Mat Die
