Great Catch!

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner here today
and I have a fun little treat box to share with you.

My hubby is a huge football fan so I thought it would be a fun surprise to make him a box to give to him on a game day. Complete with a Gnome in his favorite team colors and filled with some football themed candy for a little snack.

I created my box by using the Gable Box Die and cutting it out from some Kraft cardstock. I trimmed off one of the handle pieces so that my box would remain open. I made my little football player by using the Gnome Dies & the Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 1. I inked around the edges of my white stitched panel, added my football player and glued it to the front of my box.

I stamped my sentiment from the the Root For The Gnome Team with some Versafine Onyx Black Ink and used the Label Shape Dies 1 to cut it out. I cut out the label again, going around the perimeter with a green Copic, and added it to my sentiment label for a little shadow layer. I added it to my box, covering the hole that acts as the handle. I cut a bow using the Bow Dies and some yellow patterned paper and added that to the top of my box, finishing it off with a football from the Gnome Dies: Sports Add Ons 1 for the center of the bow.

I think this turned out so cute!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

More Chocolate and Marshmallows

Hi friends! It's Julee Tilman popping in to share a little inspiration with you.  Today I've got a fun little treat giving project. I recently watched a live on YouTube where they were making altered coffee sleeve treat pouches. I remembered making these back in the day, so decided it was time to make some more.

My first stop was Starbucks, because any excuse to go get coffee, right? I kept my coffee sleeve and gathered a few more from my family, then spent an evening watching football tracing the coffee sleeves onto scraps of patterned paper from Christmas past and cutting them out. I added a little lace to the bottom with some clear tacky glue, and since the glue seeped through the lace a bit, I was able to press in some champagne glass glitter for a touch of gold.

I then pulled out the Poinsettia two step stamping set and picked out some reds and greens to stamp them out. I layered four of the leaves  behind the large poinsettia on pop dots, then accented with some yellow stickles.  The sentiment is from the Hot Cocoa & Marshmallows set and stamped onto a label from the  Label Shape Dies 1 set. I glued this to the top of my coffee sleeve, then got to work filling my cellophane bag.

I stuffed this one with a couple packets of Ghirardelli hot cocoa, a large peppermint chocolate marshmallow, a couple chocolate spoons, and my favorite little white chocolate peppermint Lindor truffles. I tied it up with a bit of ribbon, and then tucked it into the coffee sleeve. Super easy and the perfect little gift for a friend or neighbor

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic day

When Life Gives You Lemons...

Happy Friday everyone! It's Rosie here today sharing a somewhat clean and simple card using new products from the Jaded Blossom June Release. I cut a white cardstock panel to 3.75" x 4.25" and inked it up using the Lemon Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks. This stencil is turning into one of my favorites! I glued it down along the bottom of an A2 size white card base. Next, I cut a thin strip of green cardstock to add as a border along the top of the stenciled paper.

To create the sentiment panel, I used the Label Shape Dies 1 with the Grilling With My Gnomies Stamp Set.  I die-cut the white panel and added a couple of lemons with leaves from the stencil. Next, I inked up the sentiment and stamped it over the lemons. I raised the sentiment on foam tape for dimension.

Remember, you have until July 1st to play along in the Jaded Blossom Clean and Simple Challenge for a chance at winning a free stamp set! You don't have to have a blog to play along. Fries Over Guys!

Happy Friday friends! I've been trying to get back to eating low carb and cutting out sugar because that's what works for me and my body when it comes to getting healthier and losing weight. Lately though, I've been having a mad craving for fries! When Jaded Blossom came out with the new Sentiment Strip Dies, the first thing I saw when I cut a strip from yellow cardstock was....FRIES, hahaha! So I decided to try and create a Fries Gift Card Slider using products from the Jaded Blossom Store. I even included a tutorial for you!

FRIES GIFT CARD SLIDER TUTORIAL

Step 1: I used the Coffee Slider Die to create the stack of fries and the fry carton. Use the sleeve die to cut two pieces from red cardstock and glue together to form the sleeve. Use the coffee cup insert die and cut the coffee cup insert from yellow cardstock.

Step 2: Slide the yellow cup into the red sleeve and draw a line at the bottom of the yellow cup so you know where to trim it off. Trim off the bottom of the cup and the little tabs on the sides at the top of the cup (I already trimmed them off before taking pictures).

Step 3: Using the largest Sentiment Strip Die, cut several strips from yellow cardstock. I cut around 25 strips. You might not use them all. I think my project used about 22 strips.

Step 4: Glue the strips to the yellow cup base. I I staggered my first layer of fries when covering the cup base so I did have to trim off overhang from the bottom. Next, I cut some of the strips shorter and angled them so the fries were laying at different angles.

Step 5: Attach your gift card to the back of the cup base with double stick tape or rubber cement. I did not seal the bottom of the red slider, but if you are worried about the gift card falling through, you can always add some glue to the bottom of the red slider.

Step 6: I cut a yellow label using Label Shape Dies 1. The sentiment is from Galentine's Day Stamp Set. And.....voila.....your Fries Gift Card Slider is complete!

Remember, Jaded Blossom has a current ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE. You have until April 30th to play along for a chance to win a free stamp set! And, be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.

Hugs,
Rosie

You Make My Heart Saur

Marcia on the Jaded Blossom blog today with an adorable dinosaur from this month's release. I used the letterpress technique with the Jungle Leaves Stencil to create the background. I die cut an opening from the leaves panel and inked a cloudy sky for our Pteranodon. After stamping the sentiment, I mounted the leaves panel with dimension than added the dino. I love the pop of orange against the light blue sky and green leaves.

Supplies used:
Dinomite
Prehistoric Age
Cloud Stencil
Jungle Leaves Stencil
Label Shape Dies 1

Easter Basket Shaped Card

Happy Monday my crafty friends!!  Nicole here today to share an Easter card I created.

I cannot believe we are nearing the end of March and that Sunday will be Easter!!

I have had this idea behind today's card in my mind for quite some time now and I finally

decided to give it a go!!

Here is the card -

I used the following Jaded Blossom products on my card -

To create the insert of the card I cut the cupcake insert but trimmed most of the top off. Next I used two different sizes of the circle dies and created the handle from them.  I cut the handle with white cardstock and also pattern paper so that it would be sturdy.  I glued the handle onto the card base I had created.  Next I cut the grass layer and then the Easter eggs.  Once I had arranged the eggs where I wanted them I glued the grass onto the eggs and trimmed off any extra egg layers hanging below the grass. Then I glued the grass/egg layer to the base of my card and added the bunny.  The centers of my flowers are created with Nuvo drops.  I am super happy with how the card turned out!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
