Guest Designer, Barbara!

Happy Monday everyone.  It's Barbara from My Little Spot of Sanity (everyone has to have somewhere to go so they can stay sane, and for me it's my craft room). It's my last day to guest design over at Jaded Blossom Stamps and it has definitely been an honor and a privilege to do so.  So to everyone at Jaded Blossom - thank you for the fun-filled and exciting opportunity you've given me this August.
Now for my project today I thought I'd share a little Halloween treat box.  I purchased this  Mummy Candy Bar Box from the Silhouette store last year so that I could use it in conjunction with the Pick Your Poison stamp set but never got around to do so.  And now I have finally done it!
To make my project I had to rework the box a bit since I bought a king size Hershey bar.  After I got everything the size I needed, I used the script embossing folder from Cricut's Cuttlebug line to emboss my little mummy, added my sentiment from Pick Your Poison and viola.  My Hershey bar holder is complete.
Thanks for checking in and thanks again for having me as a guest designer this month!

For My Foxy Friend

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I am sharing the Birthday Gift Card Holder and matching Gift Tag I made using the Foxy stamp set.

I LOVE this adorable fox from the Foxy stamp set and thought it would be perfect for my friends Birthday gifts.
I started these projects with the Wine Tag Die, and the Folding Gift Card Die and cut them out.
I stamped and paper pieced the fox's from the Foxy stamp set and cut them out.
I added each one to a balloon that I cut with the Birthday Dies and stamped with the Paisley stamp set. I attached twine to each of them and put them on pop dots.
For the Gift Card Holder, I added the background mat cut with the Goody Bag Die and stamped the sentiment from the Foxy stamp set.
For the Soap Bottle Tag, I cut the background mat using the Stitched Square Dies and the sentiment tag from the Mini Tag Dies.
I stamped the sentiment onto the tag using the Foxy stamp set and the Best Friends.
For the bottom of the tag, I cut a decorative strip with the Border Dies and stamped the sentiment from the Hey Chickie stamp set.

I hope you all like my projects and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share a birthday card!

I started off with the Card Mat Dies and then used Border Dies for the Chevron. Next I stamped Birthday in Style onto a Stitched Circle Die and added it to a Scallop Circle Die. Last I pop dotted it to the center of the card!

Believe in Yourself!

Hey, it is Melissa from M Miranda Creations! It's my day to share and I'm excited about how this gift set turned out!!!

As an older woman, sometimes I think it is important to remind a young lady that no matter what she just needs to believe in herself!!! So that is what this set is about. It will be a gift set to let one special young lady know that I believe in her too!

I decided to make a card and gift box set. The box will be filled with chocolates. Yum!!! For the card, I used Card Mat Dies, Rectangle Dies 2, Bow Dies, Mini Tag Dies 2, and Encouragement.

The box was made from an SVG file from SVG Cuts called Simple Box. I reduced the size so that it would better hold some Ghirardelli Squares. I then used Bow Dies and Mini Tag Dies again - along with Chocoholic for the sentiment. The gray paper is from Co'ordinations and the black card stock is from Papertrey Ink. I added a few black embellishments as well.

So glad you stopped by to take a look!!!

Thank You so much!

Hello everyone!  This is Cassandra from Creating with Color by Cassandra.  And I'm sad to say it's my last post with Jaded Blossom.  I've made the tough decision to step down from the Design Team.  Life has been a little crazy lately and I need to take some time to get back in balance.

So I want to take a quick minute and give a big THANK YOU to Candace & Michelle, as well as all of my DT Sisters.  This last year has been a blast and I will miss you all very much.  I've been blogging for several years now and I'm still amazed and so very grateful for the online friendships I have found.  You gals are just awesome and I have loved our time together!

So for my last project, I just had to use some classic JB goodies. I made these using the Jaded Blossom ~ Folding Gift Card Die and the Jaded Blossom ~ Gift Card Die.  You know how I love giving gift cards!! Didn't they turn out cute?!?

For the white background, I used the layering piece from the Jaded Blossom ~ Goody Bag Die.  To make the pretty flower embellies, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Jaded Blossom Addict and fussy cut each one.  The thank you sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Supersized Thank You.  And the other sentiment is also from the Jaded Blossom ~ Jaded Blossom Addict.

Well my creative friends, that's it for me today.  Have a great day!  And thank you all so very much for the bloggy love this past year!  Your comments have meant the world to me.

Sympathy with Jaded Blossom

Hi everyone...Lee-Ann here and it's my day to take over the Jaded Blossom blog-YAY! Check out my blog HERE!  I made 4 sympathy cards using Brusho and Jaded Blossom products. I know-I'm a bit of a Debby Downer lately with the sympathy cards-but I find them hard to make...and you never have one on hand when you need one. These are relatively simple...I just added Brusho in different colours to wet water colour card stock and allowed to colour to spread and bleed on it's own. After the backgrounds were dry I heat embossed the Jaded Blossom images and sentiment. Quick and easy. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :)
**pan down to check out all the products that I used

  4. Gansai Tambii paint splatter-gold  and copper

Guest Designer, Barbara!

Hey everyone.  It's Barbara from My Little Spot of Sanity.  You might remember seeing me last week during the awesome stamp release week at Jaded Blossom.  Even after all that I'm honored to be posting another fun project at Jaded Blossom today!
I belong to a wonderful group called I Run 4 where those of us who can run and participate in physical activities run and participate for those children who cannot.  Last year I was paired up with my sweet buddy Conner.  After a year of running for this precious boy I am finally getting the chance to meet him and his wonderful family.  And what's a meeting without a gift?
Conner loves Superman and so I decided to create a special ornament for him along with a little treat of chocolate.
I used the following Jaded Blossom goodies for this project:
Rectangle tubes for the chocolate
Super Hero (revamp) stamp set for the flag sentiment
Super Hero 2 for the sentiments on the candy
I also used the base holder from the Alien Tube Holder from SVG Cutting Files and the Superhero Kid from the Silhouette Design Store.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you enjoyed the project that I've shared today.  Now I can't wait to give it to Conner and see how he likes it.
