Thanks Friend

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing a floral card.  I challenged myself to create a project using only dies, no stamps! I decided to showcase some of my favorite dies, Sunflower Dies, Flower Dies, Stitched Arch Dies, and the Photo Frame Dies!

I die cut a bunch of flower petals from the Sunflower Dies set in both sizes using paper scraps. Using up what I have is also one of my crafty goals so having these scraps on hand is perfect! I searched for bright, colorful shades of pink, yellow, orange, blue, and green and glued up the flowers while watching some reality TV.  I arranged the flowers on a square 6x6 card base and adhered them so that they hung off the edges of the square.

I used a gold cardstock for the flower centers and used one of the dies from the Flower Dies cut in white cardstock to frame the bigger centers. I also used an old paper punch for the smaller centers.

I die cut one of the nested Stitched Arch Dies with some vellum and added the die cut sentiment from the Photo Frame Die.

I added a bow on the tag with natural twine and trimmed the petals hanging off the sides of the square shape to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks sunflower cards!!!

Hi My Friendly Bloggers!

I did the white one last year in memory of Sam and thought it would be nice to make a new one for the one year anniversary of his passing... He loved sunflowers! We are going to have a get together this Saturday and I know it will be hard :( my poor hubby, he just lost his mom too

I used Jaded Blossom the SUNFLOWER DIES for the sunflower, the WISHING YOU COMFORT for the other card from last year, the SUNBURST CARD MAT DIE for the base of my card, the SCALLOP RECTANGLE DIES 1 for the bottom layer and the Basic Word Dies for the thanks cut.
Hope you like my cards for today

Sunflower Hello

Hi friends! It's Julee Tilman, popping in with a bit of sunny inspiration for your Tuesday.

I love the beautiful new Sunflower Dies from the October mini release. I know I'll be using them a ton. I cut the flower parts from colored cardstock, then did a bit of accenting with Copic markers and assembled with liquid glue. I also put together a smaller sunflower from the Wheelbarrow Dies: Fall Add Ons in the same way.

The background is stenciled onto kraft cardstock with the Sunflower Stencil Set. After I finished with the seed layer, I added some translucent texture paste while the stencil was still in place to give a little dimension and shine to the background. Next I layered everything together, and finished with a die cut sentiment from the Basic Word Dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a sunshiney day!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing a fall card featuring my new favorite flower die, the SUNFLOWER DIE! Fun fact: sunflowers have been one of my favorite flowers. They’re bright and sunny and perpetually happy! I will take every opportunity to create with these beautiful florals!

For this project, I created a slimline card. I cut multiples of each size of the petals and layered 2 for each flower. I added some shading with Copic Markers to create depth. I added some leaves under the flowers to create a grouping.

I added a sentiment from the SUNFLOWERS FOR SALE stamp set in green ink to match the leaves. I trimmed the sentiment strip into a fish tail and the card is done!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
