Latte Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun  Birthday card and gift card set to share.

I just love the Coffee Dies and decided to make this set using them.
I started this card with a standard A2 card Base and added the background mat cut with the Card Mat Dies.
I stamped the backgrounds for both card and gift card holder using the Party Splatters and Paint Splatters stamp sets.
I cut all the die pieces from the Coffee Dies, using velum for the cup top layer.
I stamped the image onto the centers of the cups using the Coffee Candies and colored the bean with a brown marker.
I stamped the sentiment on the card from the Coffee Break and the gift card holder using the Gift Cards Galore.
To finish, I cut the Folding Gift Card Die and added the mat cut with the Goody Bag Die.
For the inside I used the Gift Card Die to cut the insert piece for the gift card.

I hope you all liked my projects for today and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Guest Designer ~ Lorie Ames

I am SO excited to be a Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom today!

I took advantage of this wonderful timing to make my step-daughters gifts pretty for Christmas this year.  We do mail to her and I'm so thrilled to be ahead of the game this year!  One little thing to tell you before we move on is that I've used papers from the same paper pack for these projects...an older retired SU! paper pack (isn't it adorable?).  All stamps and dies (minus the bear) are from Jaded Blossom.

 Without further ado, my projects:

One gift that we get her every year is a gift card.  Being that she lives about 4 hours from us I think it is just better for her to be able to pick something she really wants and we encourage her to purchase something she would not normally purchase for herself...last year she got a beautiful Coach bag!.  With that in mind I was super excited to use the new Folded Gift Card Die.  Above is the outside of the gift card holder.  I gussied it up with a cute bear and coffee cup as well as a sentiment from the Season's Tweetings set.

Inside this gift card holder is made special by using the template from the Fun Money set as well as a sentiment from the Gift Cards Galore set.  The gift card itself is nestled into the holder with the Gift Card Die (which, by the way I put at an angle on purpose).

In addition to the gift card (and another gift that will go unnamed just in case she reads this, though I doubt it) we got her some warm, comfy, plush socks to wear inside this winter.  I made the belly band by just using a length of the pattered paper and gluing it together in the back.  On top are circles from the Scalloped Circle and Stitched Circle Dies.  The CaUTE sentiment is from the Holiday Pampering set.

And finally I made a card to put into the box.  This card uses a bunch of Jaded Blossom as well!  I've used the Christmas Luggage Tag for the main sentiment which I cut with the Scalloped Circle and Stitched Circle Dies, the tree border and holly elements are made with the Christmas Dies. And there you have it!  I think she is going to LOVE this set and I cannot wait for her to open it!

Thank you to Candace and Michelle for having me today..I really had fun putting all of this together!

Perk Up!!! :)

Hi My Friendly Bloggers!
This is Cindy from Cindy's Scraptastic Designs,  It's my day to post over at Jaded Blossom.
For today's post I took a die and made something totally different with it. I turned the Candy Caddy into a k-cup holder. I LOVE my coffee!!!
I used Jaded Blossom the Candy Caddy for the base of my k-cup box, the Fall Dies for the leaves, the Mini Tag Dies for the little tag to add a sentiment from the set Java Time and the
Gift Cards Galore for the other sentiment and from SVG Cutting Files I used the
Kawaii Latte Slide Card for the coffee cup and added a face from Peachy Keen Stamps from the set PK-1521 In the Garden II Faces 1-1/8 inch. I also added real coffee beans!
Hope you like my project for today!! :)

You will need to cut two Candy Caddy panels and then you will cut them right were the second handle would start!
So for the bottom you will cut one Candy Caddy panel and then you will cut off both of the handles, were the stitching is!!!
The inside panel is 3 1/2" x 5" and fold the two sides 1/2" that is were you will glue to the inside,  line up the top of this piece with top of the bottom panel, it will give you the right height that way. The circles are the same size as the circle that is part of the sun die.
I made that part on my cricut!!!
 2" 1/2 x 5" for the front panel
