Kawaii Gingerbread Hot Cocoa Scallop Caddy

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. I used several stamps and dies to create a Christmas Gingerbread Scallop Caddy to hold hot cocoa and a candy cane. These make great student and teacher gifts and come together pretty quickly.

COPICS:
E23, E27, E35, E37
R24, R35, R37, R39
White gel pen

I used the mug die from the Coffee Dies Set for the red coffee cup. I cut a slit in the coffee part to add the marshmallows from the Coffee Banner Dies. The gingerbread girl is from Kawaii Gingerbread Stamps. I used the candy cane from Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 1 to add inside the slit also. The sentiment is from Hot Cocoa Stamps (revamped).

Remember, Jaded Blossom has a current STRIPES Challenge. You have until November 5th to play along for a chance to win a free stamp set! And be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.

Frappe Birthday

 Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Larelyn from Handmade From My Heart back with another project.

It's always good to have a stash of birthday cards and coffee-themed cards are so much fun to send.

I love Doodlebug Designs patterned papers.  The cute patterns often provide inspiration for the design of the card.  I wanted to create a clear frappe cup so I used acetate, leaving the protective film on.
I didn't want glue to show so I ran the inside piece and the cup rim through a Xyron.

Jaded Blossom products used:
this was last month's highlight set and it's still on sale

Thanks for taking a look.

Frappe Birthday

Frappe birthday!!! Marcia from The Frolicking Fairy taking over the JB blog today.  I've created this fun, no-coloring card for Jaded Blossom. I had a lot of fun mashing together various die sets to create this fun layout. This project is also more inspiration for our current coffee-themed January Challenge (still no entries as I write this blog).

I started by inking the Coffee Stain stencil onto my folding card base, adding some blue to the card edges. Then, after inking all of the die cut pieces, I assembled the cupcake and nerdy frappe atop a die cut doily. The frappe was adhered with dimension, but less than your typical foam tape which was used for the sentiment. Likewise, I did not glue the doily edges flat to the paper, giving that extra element of dimension and shadow. Isn't this just so cute?!

Supplies used:
Frappe Birthday (Spotlight Stamp set this month - on sale for $10.99)
Coffee Dies
Birthday Dies
Glasses Dies
Mini Tag Dies 3
Doily Dies
Coffee Stain Stencil

Thanks a Latte

Happy Monday!! Nicole here today to share a project with you -

I created a fun set of thank you cards.  I am planning to tuck a coffee gift card inside as a token of my appreciation to the recipient.  I used the following Jaded Blossom goodies to create these-

My background paper has quite a bit of shimmer to it which, although it makes it harder to photograph, it really helps the embossing to stand out.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
