Cinco de Gnomo

Hola crafty friends! It's Julee popping in with a super fun Cinco de Mayo card. I do enjoy any excuse to celebrate with tacos and margaritas so Cinco de Mayo is something I always look forward to!

The background is a lift print I took after ink blending on the confetti stencil. I loved the way it looked, so had to use it for a background. I cut it with the Card Mat Dies. These dies are my go to and have now found a permanent space on my desk. I rarely make a card without them.

My girl gnome is created with the Girl Gnome Dies and Gnome Dies: Cinco de Mayo Add Ons. I absolutely adore the cactus in this set, so had to color it up with alcohol markers for an accent. I added some Nuvo drops as decorations on her sombrero, and gave her a nice colorful print for her dress.

When I was coloring the die cut pieces, I didn't clue in that the glass was most likely a shot glass until my husband called it that. I had colored it as a margarita and he wanted to know why the tequila was green! Ha! So let's just say my glass is a little gnome sized margarita that most restaurants serve you when you order the cheapo margs and are saving the margarita glasses! LOL

I finished off with a sentiment from Cinco de Gnomo, cut with the coordinating outline dies. I layered it three times for dimension, then assembled everything and this card is ready to go!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
