Guest Designer Melissa!

Hi! I'm Melissa and I am so excited to be October Guest Designer. For my first post, I hadn't been able to play with the mini Gnomes since I bought them when they released so this was the perfect opportunity.
I pulled out some old patterned paper that was in my stash from Jelly Bean and began to create my scene. My idea was to create an anniversary card, or just a card to tell someone how much they mean. Picture this: a beautiful night sky, with a full moon in a park that's strung lights. A band playing in the gazebo. And you and your loved one sitting on a blanket, enjoying a little picnic.

I used Mini Girl Gnomes, Mini Boy Gnomes and Gnome Kisses stamp set.

Thanks so much for checking out my project!

The Best Part Of Friendsgiving Is Being With You

Happy Friday everyone! It's Rosie here today sharing a Friendsgiving card using several of the new products from the Mini Fall Release. These new dies and stamp sets are AWESOME! I love that this release contains Halloween and Thanksgiving themes.

For my card, I created two friend turkeys using the turkey die included in the new Street Lamp Die: Fall Add Ons and the turkey from the FREEBIE offer. To create the sunflower street lamp, I used the original Street Lamp Die for the post and Street Lamp Die: Valentine Add Ons for the street sign holder. The "Sunflower Trails" is from the new Haunted Highway Stamp Set. The sentiment is from the new Friendsgiving Stamp Set

The branch at the top of the card is from the Tree Swing Die. I added leaves from the new Fall Embellishment Clusters

Remember, we have a current "ANYTHING GOES" Challenge until October 4th
for a chance to win a free stamp set! You don't have to have a blog to play along. You can load your card to the Jaded Blossom's Garden of Creativity Facebook Group and then add your link from Facebook. There are instructions HERE to help you!

Have a great weekend!

Guest Designer Sweta

Hello crafty friends! I’m Sweta from Table_in_the_Attic, back this week with another fun project. Today I’m combining the Car Cruiser Dies with the Gnome Friends Chipmunk to create a card that has a special surprise — working light-up headlights! If you enjoy interactive elements, this one’s for you.

Step 1: Building the Car

I started by die-cutting all the pieces for the cruiser in teal blue, black, white, and red cardstock. To give the car a steel finish, I also cut the front grill and a few accents from silver mirror cardstock.

When adhering the pieces together, I left out some smaller details so I could pop them up later with foam tape for extra dimension.

Step 2: Creating the Chipmunk

For the chipmunk, I cut only the base layer and the little hands. Instead of using all the die-cut pieces, I chose to color him with Copic markers. (If coloring isn’t your thing, you can absolutely assemble him directly from the dies.)

To complete the scene, I added a large stamped-and-colored gift box, plus a smaller one designed to fit in Mr. Chippy’s hands.

Step 3: Preparing the Headlights

Here comes the fun part — making the headlights glow! For this, you’ll need:

  • Pre-wired LED lights

  • Copper foil tape

  • A 3V lithium coin battery

Don’t worry — no electrician’s license required!

  1. Punch two holes in the car’s front panel where the headlights should go.

  2. Back the openings with vellum to diffuse the light.

  3. Finally, cover the vellum with mirror cardstock (also hole-punched) for a clean, finished look.

Step 4: Wiring the Lights

  1. Tape the LED lights over the vellum. Gather the two red wires (+) together and the two black wires (–) together.

  2. Adhere Mr. Chippy to the car so you can determine the best battery placement. Lightly trace a circle around the battery to mark its spot.

  3. Lay down copper tape over the marked spot. Secure the two red wires over this spot with more copper tape, then secure the black wires to the negative side of the battery again using the copper tape.

  4. Test the setup by pressing the battery onto its spot. If everything is connected correctly, the headlights should glow!

💡 Tip: Use double layers of foam tape to create a snug spot for the battery to sit in. This prevents it from staying connected all the time, which would drain the power. Tape down any loose wires so they don’t peek out from under the car.

Step 5: Final Assembly

To finish the card, I:

  • Adhered the car and chipmunk to a patterned panel from an older Brutus Monroe paper pack.

  • Positioned the large gift next to the car.

  • Added the smaller gift box with the word “push” on it (so the recipient knows where to press).

  • Stamped the sentiment in the top right corner.

Now for the best part — press the box and watch the headlights shine! ✨

I hope you’ll give this light-up card a try. It’s such a fun way to add a wow factor to your handmade creations.

Until next time, stay crafty!

Vampire Treat Boxes

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!

Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner with you today to share a super fun Halloween project!
I love making my kiddos and their families a Halloween themed basket every year.
Jaded Blossom has so many fun treat boxes, that not only does it make it simple to add a little handmade touch, it helps make my baskets extra cute!

This year I found some fun candy in the store and knew right away the perfect little box to make
 to put them in!

These little coffin boxes are so fun and perfect for Halloween!

I made two boxes, I just simply switched up the colors and the placement of my bats on each box.
I started by using the Coffin Die and cutting it from some black cardstock. I used the layering die that comes with the Coffin Die to cut out my Orange and Green patterned papers that I added to the top. I cut out a tag from the Label Shape Dies 1 and popped it up with some foam tape. I stamped my greeting from the Halloween Signs onto some gray cardstock and used the Gnome Dies: Sign Add Ons to cut it out. I placed it onto my box and added a black twine bow to the top of the sign. I used the Halloween Dies to cut out some bats, added some Wink of Stella for a little shimmer and added them to the box as well. I added some matching pearls to each box and some doodling for some finishing touches.

Wasn't this candy perfect??
I added some paper shred and two of each candy to each box.

I think these are so fun!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Guest Designer Sweta

Hello everyone! I am so excited to be guest designing for Jaded Blossom this month. My name is Sweta, and I’m from the Garden State of New Jersey. Fall feels like it’s just around the corner with cooler mornings and evenings setting in. So today, I’m sharing a fall-themed card featuring the adorable chipmunk from the Gnome Friends Chipmunk Die set.

Let’s dive straight into the project! I die cut various parts of the chipmunk using Sizzix Textured Cardstock. Next, I assembled the chipmunk with Bearly Art glue for the smaller pieces, but for the head, tail, and tummy, I added foam tape for extra dimension.

For the background panel, I sprayed a few of my favorite Chroma Mists from Brutus Monroe over kraft cardstock to create a fun fall backdrop. I love the earthy yet shimmery tones—they set the perfect autumn vibe. To add even more texture, I dry embossed the panel with a patterned folder from my stash.

Next, I die cut a stitched banner from maroon cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment “Happy Fall, Y’all” using WOW Metallic Brass embossing powder. I also die cut a few small fall leaves to accent the banner.

Now it was time to assemble the card! I adhered the shimmer-sprayed panel to a white A2 card base, then added the sentiment banner with foam tape for dimension. I tucked the die-cut leaves around the banner for extra detail.

And here’s the fun part—have you ever used Action Wobblers on your projects? If not, you definitely need to give them a try—they’re such a blast! I added one behind the chipmunk before attaching it to the card panel, and oh my goodness, it wiggles and wobbles just like a real chipmunk. Because if you’ve ever watched them in the garden, they never sit still—so why should this one?!

And that’s my project for today! Check back again next week for another creation from me. In the meantime, stay connected with Jaded Blossom on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. You can also find me as @Table_in_the_Attic on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

I wish you a wonderfully creative week ahead!
