Get Well Wishes

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

 Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner here today 

and I have a Get Well Soon card to share with you.

I don't know about your area, but there seems to be a lot of cold and flu cases in mine so I thought I better have a card to have on hand just in case. 

I created an A2 cardbase from some white cardstock and covered the front with some dotted patterned paper. I added a strip of blue patterned paper along one side and doodled around the perimeter with a black Micron pen. I used the Stylized Rectangle Dies and cut out a piece of plaid patterned paper and layered it on top of a white Stylized Scallop Rectangle Dies. I popped it up onto my card with some foam tape and started building my little bear. For my bear, I used the Gnome Friends: Bear Die, Bear Faces and the Gnome Dies: Medical Add Ons. Once I had my bear built, I popped her up onto the front of my card and added a little pink bow to her hair. I stamped my sentiment from the Speedy Recovery stamp set, used the Mini Tag Dies 3 to cut it out and tucked one end under my bear. I finished my card with a heart from the Banner Dies, some puffy stickers and a couple of white Nuvo drops.   

I'm pretty sure that this cute little bear would make anyone feel better.

Surgery Sucks!

It's Larelyn from Handmade From My Heart.

Today I'm sharing a post-surgery card that I made for a dear friend.

I chose a patriotic palette because she decorates in red, white, and blue year round.

Here's what I made.

Since she is a dog lover, I knew she would enjoy this sentiment!

Hey everyone!  It's Candace from Candi O. Designs and it's my day over at Jaded Blossom.  I'm just loving this months release and made a treat topper for a tea bag mixing and matching the new release with some older products.  Turned out to be a sweet gift for someone on the mend.....

Get Well Soon Shaker Card

Nicole here today - I hope you had a great weekend and I hope you enjoyed all of the sneak peeks from last week for the Jaded Blossom August 2018 Release!!  I had so much fun playing with all of the new stamp sets and the new medical dies!!  So much fun that I made another card using some of the new products!!  This time a shaker card -

To create the shaker portion of my card I used -

Rectangle Dies 1

Scallop Rectangle Dies 1

Speedy Recovery

Kawaii Medicine

along with "Medical Icons" which was the freebie from this release

I created a frame for my shaker portion with a scallop rectangle and a regular rectangle die.  I cut out several of the "pill" images from "Medical Icons" and colored them in with my Copic markers.  I added them along with some heart sequins to the shaker portion and attatched to my card base.  I used two layers of foam tape to give plenty of room for the items to shake.  The gingham paper is cut with Card Mat Dies.  I colored the pill bottle and stamped the sentiment and adhered them to the shaker portion of the card.
