Candy Corn Witch

Hello! Mel from Doxie Mel Designs with a new treat idea.  I love to make Halloween projects so I thought I would get a head start.  Inspired by my daughter's candy corn witch costume, I colored up Alice from Jaded Blossom's Wonderland stamp set to match. The hat is from the Kitty Dress up. She is colored with Copic Markers.

Here is a peek inside the drawer. This base is from SVG Cutting Files, Nugget Easel Drawer Box.

The nugget chocolates are wrapped with candy wrap dies and I found a matching "candy corn" wrap stamp included in the Halloween Candy Wrap stamp set.  The centers are stamps from Spooky Labels.

Copic Markers
Hair- v12, v15, v17, bv08
skin- g21, g24
oranges- yr02, yr18
yellow- y11, y15
black- c1, c3, c7

You're not getting older...

Hi everyone...DT Lee-Ann here and it's my turn to post on the Jaded Blossom Blog..I chose to make a quick little card with a matching treat...LOVE how this set turned out. I stamped the little girl from the Jaded Blossom set called "Smell the Flowers" on a white piece of card stock that I had already cut into a circle using the Jaded Blossom Stitched Circle die...I then coloured her with Spectrum Noir markers...masked her off, then blended a quick background using Distress inks. I stamped little flowers from the set using Versamark...then I white heat embossed them and added pearl centers. I then cut mats out of patterned papers using the Jaded Blossom Scallop Square die, Border dies and Card Mat dies...and Bam, Done!

For the treat I used the SVG Cutting Files Wonderland Hop Freebie Rolled Rose(a Freebie HERE) to top a Jaded Blossom 1x8" treat bag. I inked the flowers edges and added Stickles...added a green ribbon bow and a quick little tag using JB Mini Tags 2 dies and another sentiment from the Smell the Flowers stamp set. That's it everyone...thanks for stopping by...don't forget to pan down to check out all the products that I used to make these projects.

You're Nutty!

Hello there....It's Barb with BugBites here with a "nutty" treat project.

I put together a little treat box using my favorite candies..snack size snicker bars. Three of them fit perfectly in this clear treat box.

I used a border die from the Tropical Dies to make a few layers of grass for my forest friend to stand on which also gave me a place to stamp my sentiment.

Here 's what I used on t his project today...

Post It Note Holder and Tutorial

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun  Post It Note holder and short tutorial to share.

Here is the project I made for today

Isn't this cute?! I love that adorable worm!
Today I am going to show you how I made this using the Jaded Blossom Lollipop Die. It is the PERFECT size for post it notes!

Here is what you will need

Jaded Blossom-
Score Board
Sticky Back Hook and Loop circles
Decorative papers and die cut
Post It Notes

You will start by cutting out the Lollipop Die.
Then you will score it with the scallop side to the right, at 6 1/2 and 6 7/8 inches. Fold along those score lines on the scallop side and the first 2 score lines on opposite side.
Glue in a Post It Note pack to the back side of the Lollipop Die.
Now you're ready to decorate!

I cut out a piece of blue cardstock to fit the font flap and stamped the grid background with the Paint Splatter 2.
I cut the worm from the PPPR Bookworm Couple file and stamped the eyes with the Peachy Keen Erkle and Merkle face stamps.
I cut the ruler and clipboard from decorative paper and glued them on. (This paper is from the Doodlebug Take Note 6X6 pad)
To finish, I cut the Flag Die 2 and stamped the sentiment from the Encouragement stamp set. I cut this die down to fit the exact width of the post it note holder, gluing onto the flap just above the scallop border. I added the Hook and Loop tab to the flap for the closure.
(OPTIONAL-If you want to cover the score marks on back of holder, add another piece of cardstock cut to size)

I hope you all liked my project and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Back To School

Hey there! It's Sara with Design a Party by Sara and I'm here to share a fun project with you!
School starts this week for us so I made a special treat to put in my son's lunch box on the first day. I can't believe school is already starting. But it will be nice to get back in a routine and in the swing of things again.
So here's my special treat I made

I used  lots of JB on my treat today

I used Oreos that I found at Walmart that are back to school. They have 3 or 4 different sayings on them but I used the back to school ones.
For my apple dies I cut the inside of the apple out twice. Once in the cream and once in the black. I glued the cream color onto the red apple piece . Then with the black inside piece I only used the black seeds. I love all of the JB dies, they make creating projects so easy and fun.
I can't wait for my little guy to see his special treat. It is going to be a surprise for him.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy 1st Day of School!

Hello everyone!  This is Cassandra from Creating with Color by Cassandra. With everyone going back to school this time of year, I decided to make a fun project for the kiddos.

Hee!  I wish I had something like this on my first day of school!  ;)  To decorate each pencil, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Treat Flags.  For the sentiments on all of the flags, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ School Rules, the Jaded Blossom ~ Lunch Box Notes 2, the Jaded Blossom ~ Dream In Color, and the Jaded Blossom ~ Super Hero.  For the large tag on the holder, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Treat Tag Die. The smaller tag is cut with the Jaded Blossom ~ Mini Tag Dies 2.  And the sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Lunch Box Notes 2.  The super fun apple is from the SVG Cutting Files ~ Kawaii Nerdy School.

Well my creative friends, that's it for me today.  I will see you all again soon.  Have a great day everyone!

Funny Mail 2 for the bird and the sentiment, and I cut the bird a couple of time to give it a 3D look!!!  and I LOVE the way it came out!!!! and I also used the Birthday Dies
and Valentine Dies for the hearts, the Stitched Square Dies with the Scallop Square Dies for the base to stamp on. Hope you like my card for today!!! :)

Have a Cow

Hello Everyone! Mel here with a new treat for you. I had picked up these cow tail candies and thought it was time to create a project for them. They came wrapped in a box so it was easy to just add a topper made with Jaded Blossom Dies. I used the largest scallop circle die and the coordinating stitched circle die.  The cow pattern paper was created with the cow print stamp from Farm Candies. The sentiment is from Udderly Adorable and fits perfectly on the new label die.

Here is a close up of the topper.  The cow is from Cricut's Create A Critter.

Have a Magical Birthday!!!

Hi everyone...DT Lee-Ann(from Snappy Scraps) here with my first official post on the Jaded Blossom blog...so excited!!! For today's post...I decided to channel my inner Harry Potter...I love Harry Potter!!! I whipped up a card and matching treat...I made a (hopefully) magical looking background with Distress inks. I coloured Harry(from the Jaded Blossom My Favorite Wizard stamp set) with Spectrum Noir markers then masked him off to ink blend a background on the Scallop Slider topper die...I added water droplets and then added embossing paste stenciled stars over top...and then coated them in Glamour Dust for a sparkly look...I matted the piece using a Scallop square die that I cut and separated a bit to give the illusion that I covered the card base...and then covered the cut with a Border die piece...I added balls of magic with the Stitched circle dies...that I colored with Mustard seed distress ink...then I stenciled the stars on using Simon Says Sunshine ink...coated them in clear Wink of Stella. Liberal dabs of Glossy Accents here and there...and hopefully, BAM, a magical looking card.

The treat was super easy...I used the Scallop Slider Topper die as my background...I then used the slider die to cut slots for my Jaded Blossom 1x8" clear treat bag to slip through...then I used a past freebie hop file from SVG Cutting Files-Love Harry (this freebie isn't available any more-you have to do the hops peeps) to embellish my treat along with a cute sentiment from the same Jaded Blossom My Favorite Wizard set on a tag from the set Mini Tags 2...LOVE how they turned out. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann

Fish On!

Happy Monday!! It's Barb with BugBites here to start your week with a "Fishy"  treat.

I was recently in Newport, Rhode Island. Wow, what a great port city and I have to say some of the best seafood around.

Of course, I found some "fishy" sweets at the candy shop. These gummi  candy pops are so fun I just had a to make a little gift tag for it.

I used the print and cut feature on my cameo to make all the separate under water creatures. Then all I needed to do is glue them down. I added a few with some pop dots as well. The Fish on Stamp set has the perfect sentiments for any sea life project.

Here 's what I used the create this fun tag...
