Guest Designer Caren!

Hello everyone, it's Caren from Caren with a C back again. It's my final post as a Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom. I've had such a blast playing with the fabulous products from the May release.

Today, I'm sharing a tag using three of the new stamp sets and one of the dies released this month - Bug Me Anytime, Birthday Bug Tags, Love Bugs, and the Honeycomb Card Mat die.

I stamped, colored, and cut out the bee images from Love Bugs and Birthday Bug Tags. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from the Bug Me Anytime stamp set onto yellow card stock. I layered the sentiment onto a piece of black card stock and cut a fishtail on the right side of the strip. I die cut the Honeycomb card mat die twice - from black and yellow card stock. I also die cut the Rounded Tag die from white card stock.

I used spray adhesive to attached the black honeycomb to the tag and trimmed the excess around the tag. I inset the yellow honeycomb pieces onto the tag. I popped up the bees and sentiment strip on the tag using foam adhesive. To finish the tag, I added a piece of black ribbon to the top of the tag.

Thanks for stopping by, I plan on continually using Jaded Blossom products on my blog and Instagram. The ladies at Jaded Blossom have been great to work with, and I want to thank them for the opportunity to be one of their guest designers.

Bug Birthday!

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share a fun card!

I created a background with the Bitten Leaf Stencil on a Card Mat Die. Then I stamped and colored the grasshopper from Bug Me Anytime and added it to a Tropical Flower Die. I used a leaf from Flower Dies. Last I added the sentiment from the same stamp set to a Mini Tag Die 3.

Thanks for stopping!

Heart Flutter

Happy Tuesday! Marcia from The Frolicking Fairy on the Jaded Blossom blog today sharing this fun treat topper using stamps from the new May release. I stamped the adorable butterfly and watercolored with Distress Markers. For the cloud background, I used the open clouds from the Cloud Stencil and inked with Picket Fence Distress Oxide ink then outlined in white gel pen to help them pop. I love the effect! After stamping the sentiment, I die cut the heart bug trail and assembled the topper. I carefully rolled the butterfly's wings a bit for dimension.

Guest Designer Caren!

Hello everyone, it's Caren from Caren with a C, guest designer for Jaded Blossom this month. I've had such a great time working with this month's buggy release!

Today, I'm sharing a card using three of the new stamp sets released this month - Bug Me Anytime, Birthday Bug Tags, and Baby Bugs.

I stamped, colored, and cut out the spider images from Bug Me Anytime and Baby Bugs. I then added googly eyes to the spider - they just make everything more fun!

On my white card base, I adhered a 2 1/2 by 5 1/2 piece of polka dot patterned paper and a strip of purple glitter paper. I heat embossed the sentiment from Birthday Bug Tags using black ink and clear embossing powder.

I used foam dimensional adhesive to pop up the large spider and adhered the smaller spiders directly on the card base. To finish off the card, I added a few sequins around the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by, I'll have my last guest designer post in a couple days!

Birthday Fishes Luggage Tag

This is Marcia from The Frolicking Fairy.  Thank you to those that joined me on the Jaded Blossom Facebook page last Saturday for my Facebook Live creating this fun masculine birthday tag. You can watch the replay below and scroll for all of the Jaded Blossom products used.

A kind viewer (Sheila) recommended I use a brad to swing the top layer as a card, which worked beautifully! Thank you for the suggestion. As always, I added a googly eye for good measure.

If you are interested in watching me create more Live videos for Jaded Blossom, please comment below. I'd love for you to share what products you would like to see used or any special technique you are interested in learning more about. Until next time..

We Mermaid To Be Friends

Happy Friday everyone! It's Rosemary here today sharing a summery, floral card featuring MERMAID KISSES. Remember, our current CHALLENGE this month is FLOWER POWER! You have until June 7th to play along with us!

I love the beach and usually pick somewhere tropical to go on vacation. Since vacation plans are on hold for a while due to everything going on, I decided to transport myself there with this card. I colored this gorgeous Mermaid using Copic Markers and then added Gold paint to certain areas.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E11, E13
Hair: BV08, V17, V15, V04
Pink: RV02, RV06, RV09
Teal: BG10, BG13, BG15, BG78
Tail: BG18, BG13, BG10, V04, V17, RV02, RV04, RV09
Gold Paint Pen

To create the card, I cut two large stitched rectangles using the RECTANGLE DIES 2. On one rectangle, I used the following colors to create a sunset sky: Scattered Straw, Ripe Persimmon, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Chipped Sapphire.

On the 2nd rectangle, I used Broken China and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink to color half of it. Then I used one of the wave border dies from the TROPICAL DIES to cut it out. I also cut a second wave border from the white half of the rectangle. I splattered water over the blue distressed piece and adhered it on top of the white wave exposing the white border at the top. Next I placed the mermaid partially behind the wave with her hair toward the front. Both the wave and mermaid are raised on foam tape. To finish off the card, I added flowers and enamel dots.

For more inspiration head over to the Jaded Blossom Blog! And be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.

Hugs,
Rosemary

Hello! Mel from Doxie Mel Designs with a new gift card idea for you today. I used the large single flower from Flower Cluster and stamped three of them to layer. The flowers are colored in orange tone Copic Markers. The flowers are decorating Jaded Blossom's Pocket Tag Die.

Here is a closer look at the flowers. The greens behind the flower are from Jaded Blossom's Flower Dies. The sweet little tag is stamped with a sentiment from Kind Thanks.
