Happy Fall!

Hey everyone, Happy Halloween!!!

Jaymie here, and today I wanted to share a Fall treat I made!!

Everything Jaded Blossom:

The leaf is a NEW file from SVG Cutting Files called the Stitch Up Fall Leaf and I used Orange Truffle from Trendy Twine to do all the stitching.  The cute little acorn is also from SVG Cutting Files, it is from the Harvest Handled Bag Set.  This set is great because not only can you create those super cute bags, but you can also use the layers to create many other things.  I used the Cornies from Peachy Keen for the face.

Here is a close up of the topper

For the insert of the gusset bag, I masked off the acorn from the Thanksgiving Candies set to create a cute little border to match.  Here is a close up

I filled the bag with these cute little acorns that I made using Nutter Butter cookies, Hershey Kisses and semi-sweet chocolate chips.  I was inspired by a recipe I found on the Taste of Home website and you can find it HERE

Well I hope you have enjoyed my treat today, thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Cards and A Quick Halloween Treat!

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here and I've got a couple cards and a quick Halloween treats I made for my Son's class to share with you.

First up is a birthday card I made for my Sister in Law. She loves to read so how perfect is a card with some books on the cover. The books were made with simple rectangles that I put score marks on and inked the edges. Then I stamped each book with a different sentiment.  Last I added a banner die with the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Next up I made a card for my Father in Law. I used a mustache stamp to make the background paper. I cut a couple flags and stamped on the sentiment. I also added a few more flags to the top, wrapped some fibers and added a stamped candy charm.

And last my treat I made for my 3 year old's class. I put some playdoh and Halloween goldfish inside a Gusset bag, then tied on a Candy Corn from SVG Cutting Files with some twine. I stamped a face and then a sentiment from Too Cute To Spook.

Happy Halloween!!

Hi everyone! Candace here from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses! Halloween is SOOOO close I can taste it!! If only I was ready for it! :) Haven't quite got the kids' costumes figured out... but at least I have the treats finished!! That's the important part, right?! :)

I made these fun little treat bags for my daughter's playschool class...

Since I had to make so many of these, I didn't add a whole lot of detail to them. It makes me want to cry when I see the kids tear them apart without so much as a glance at my fax stitching... :)

My daughter, on the other hand, can appreciate all my details.... So hers is a bit prettier. ;)

I used an adorable little witch file that my daughter picked out from the SVG Cutting Files store and a sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Best Witches stamp set.

I choose a cute, simple treat topper from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store and added some washi tape, my witch and sentiment.

I hope you all have an awesome Halloween!!!!! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Pumpkin!

Good morning and Happy Sunday! Jeanne here, from Jeanne's Paper Crafts sharing my last post as a Jaded Blossom guest designer. I've had a blast designing alongside this design team and being involved in all of the Jaded Blossom fun this month. Thanks so much for having me Candace and Michelle, you two are awesome!

The project for today will be one of my last fall type projects for the year. Now it's time to head on to Thanksgiving and Christmas...can you believe it?! Time sure is flying by!
I got some little pumpkin candles at my local Joann's store and added a simple Jaded Blossom tag to it. I used the Layered Journal Frame Die for the tag, the sentiment is from the Let's Talk Turkey stamp set, and I added this cute little pumpkin from the Chibi Dressed Pumpkins over at SVG Cutting Files
Supplies:
DCWV Amber Autumn 12x12 paper stack
DCWV The Pumpkin Patch 6x6 paper stack
Core'dinations
Jaded Blossom Let's Talk Turkey

hemp twine

Feel Better Soon!!

Good morning! Jeanne here, from Jeanne's Paper Crafts with another guest designer post to share with you today!

I re-created this adorable little 3-D Doctor's Bag from a file over at SVG Cutting Files which you can find here. When I came across it, I knew it would be perfect for some of those fabulous Jaded Blossom Candies stamps! I used the Friendly Candies for this project. :)
For the patterned paper, I found a digital scrapbooking bundle over at Sweet Shoppe Designs called Bumps & Bruises. I used my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition to fill the cut file with several patterned papers in the kit. Then cut everything out onto Epson Matte Presentation paper with my Epson Workforce printer. I've found that this matte presentation paper has such fantastic, vivid colors when printing digital scrapbook papers, that it's the paper I generally use. (I do like to print and cut on Bazzill textured cardstock, but I don't do it as often, because the colors aren't the same.)
I used some miscellaneous circle punches to create a tag for my sentiment from the Get Well Soon stamp set and attached it with some black hemp twine.
Supplies:
Epson Matte Presentation Paper
Jaded Blossom Friendly Candies
Jaded Blossom Get Well Soon
SVG Cutting Files 3-D Doctors Bag
hemp twine
misc circle punches
enamel dots

Best Witches Cauldrons

Hi everyone! Mel here with a quick Halloween Project. These are really easy to put together with pre-made candy holders and your Jaded Blossom Stamps. I found some plastic cauldrons at the Dollar Store, six for a buck!  (I made these for my co-workers for Halloween.) I cut a tag shape and masked off one of the sentiments included on the Halloween Mash Up word art stamp.  The candies are decorated with a broom found on Wizard Candies. Since I am only made a few of these, I added a little color with my Copic Markers to decorate the brooms and tags.

The cauldrons have some green tulle stuffed inside to give he appearance of something bubbling and brewing.

Thanks for stopping by today! I can't wait to see these on my friend's desks this Halloween. :)

#AJO Pay it Forward

Good morning! It is Crystal here from Crystal's Creative Corner and I am excited to share with you my Jaded Blossom Design Team project for today and a special story that goes with it.

Alyssa surrounded by her family!
An 18-year old girl Penn State college student named Alyssa text her mom and asked if they could go get Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks in the morning..little did she know that Alyssa's life would be tragically cut short due to complications from epilepsy.
But through their grief and sadness, Alyssa's parents did go to Starbucks....and they bought 40 Pumpkin Spice Lattes and gave them to the customers with Alyssa's initials on them #ajo.
All they asked is that the customer pay it forward in memory of their daughter.

Alyssa's dad and mom with a PSL - #ajo

Little did they know that their one random act of kindness would start a rapid chain of events...soon #ajo was trending, coffees were purchased, restaurant bills were being paid, and small gestures of kindness were popping up EVERYWHERE - each one just asking to pay it forward in Alyssa's name.

So here is my project today:

I made cards using the Jaded Blossom Journal Die to give out as my husband and I #ajo (yes..it is a verb too!) random people :)

I used the Jaded Blossom Gift Card Die on the back of this one to surprise someone with.

I also used the Jaded Blossom Awareness Die on the front along with the Candy Charms & Banners and Alphabet Candies to put her initials on the front.

Alyssa was studying nursing so she could make a difference in people's lives. Please help continue to keep her memory alive, and raise awareness for epilepsy by doing a random act of kindness.
#ajo

If you would like to read more about Alyssa's story you can check out the Facebook page in her memory

Thank you for stopping by today....and because you did you might be #ajo'd!
Leave a comment and I will choose one random person from this post to receive a Jaded Blossom $10 Gift Certificate! (comment on my blog post and you will get an extra entry!)
:)
All I ask is that the winner pay it forward in Alyssa's memory
#ajo
I will post the winner on my blog tomorrow!

Pudding Graves

Hi Everybody!
Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, and it's time for more Jaded Blossom projects today!  I was cruising Pinterest for some fun food treats I could send to my little ones kindergarten class.  I fell in love with this idea when I saw it.  So simple, but so cute!

The original creation used a marshmallow Peep ghost, but I decided to make a few different ones using paper instead.  This helps to cut some of the sugar in the treat, and also using what I had on hand :)  Here is how my pudding graveyard turned out:

*Happy Haunting Cricut cartridge
*October 31st Cricut cartridge
*chocolate pudding
*candy pumpkins
*brownie, or oreo crumbs

*On the fronts of the pudding cups, I added a strip of washi tape, and sentiments using the Halloween CandiesHalloween Candies 2 stamp sets.

Here are some close ups:

*For the "dirt top" look, just sprinkle on some brownie or Oroe crumbs!

*I used one of the little image stamps from the Halloween Bingo set for the ghost face.

*This zombie hand is still one of my favorite cuts!

*Doesn't this look delicious?!?!

I hope you liked my projects!  I'd love to see some of you make these and share it on the Jaded Blossom Facebook page HERE, or on my Crazy About Cricut Facebook page HERE.  TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :)

Mini Calendars

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share a new project with you!

I used the 2014 Mini Calendar Kits to make these! These are so fun and fast to make! I used the NEW SVG outlines for the S'more and Cocoa Cup.

First I made one with the Got S'more set. I stamped the s'more and colored him with some Copics. Then I stamped the sentiment on a banner. I pop dotted them on top of some burlap and twine.

For this one I used the Hot Cocoa set. I stamped the cup and colored part of it with Copics. I stamped it again on patterned paper and cut out the cup part. I stamped the sentiment on the smallest flag from Flag Dies 2. Then I added some burlap and attached the flag and cup on top.

Recipe-
Trendy Twine- Chocolate Truffle
Echo Park- Happy Camper(S'mores) This & That Graceful (Cocoa)

If you'd like to use the SVG Outlines with all your Jaded Blossom images you can download them free HERE!

There's still time to join this month's challenge HERE.
