Guest Designer Katie!

Happy New Year's Eve! Katie Here, I hope everyone is having a fun & safe day! I am excited that Candace & Michelle allowed me to be the Jaded Blossom Guest Designer for today. I love Jaded Blossom stamps & dies. They are fun, practical & easy to use!

My project features the Jaded Blossom "Happy New Year!" stamp set & the Wine Tag Die to create New Year's Eve treats. I saved toilet paper rolls & twist ties from packages so I could assemble the treat holders. I used white and silver sparkled blue tissue paper as wrapping. The treat holders are stuffed with mints, chocolate candies & confetti. The confetti is actually the Happy New Year's Eve Candy Stamps! How fun is it to rip open the treat holders to have candies & fun confetti circles spill everywhere!

The wine tag added some much needed pizzazz to bottle of sparkling cider. Blue, Purple & Silver made a fun color combo for this festive set.

Hope you enjoyed the post! May 2015 be filled with lots of crafting!

Guest Designer Stefani!

Hey, Y'all - it's Stefani from Styles by Stefani!  So happy to be today's guest designer on Jaded Blossom!  It has been such a fun month seeing all the great projects everyone has made!

For my project today I wanted to show something I've been working on recently.  I have started a cookbook featuring the meals I make for me and hubby!  I'm actually going to make a series of them....This first one is just some of our favorite go to recipes....kinda our daily meals.  Items that make it easy for us to work full time and keep us fed.  Then I'm going to make one for formal meals, an appetizers one, a desserts/snacks book and a camping/primitive cooking book.  Stay tuned.

I was soooooo excited when Jaded Blossom came out with the new baking sets....Baked with Love, Baking Dies and Freshly Baked as I had just started this first cookbook!  These sets are just perfect for my upcoming projects!  Besides using the new baking sets I also used Card Mat Dies, Flag Dies, and Wine Tag Dies.

Without further delay....here is my first cookbook:

Well, thank you for stopping by.  Please stay tuned over this year for the rest of my books

Guest Designer, Candice!

Hello my friends! It's Candice here!
First, I will like to thank Candace and Michelle for providing the opportunity to be a guest designer today for Jaded Blossom!
Since my day is after Christmas, I struggled with my decision to go with either a Christmas or Valentine project.

I decided to go with this goodie bag for Santa.  This year, Santa wanted brownies and we wanted to give him something cute to put them in.  I used the Mini Tags die, and Gingerbread Wishes stamps and die for the sentiment and the image.  The bag is a silhouette file.

You can check out the video to see my process for putting this bag together.

Thank for stopping by and have a Happy New Year!

Guest Designer Melinda!

Greetings all,  Melinda here from Scrappinmelon. Hoping everyone had a very Merry Christmas filled with family, friends, good food and all the trimmings. I was so thrilled to find out that I was one of the lucky ladies chosen to be a guest designer for the day here on the Jaded Blossom blog.  A big THANK you to Michelle and Candace for the opportunity.

Since my day is after Christmas I chose to make my projects for New Years. I can't believe that we are going into 2015!!!!! So much has happened this year, time has just slipped away and the new year is upon us! I work at the hospital and will be working all the holidays including New Years Eve. So I decided to make a few fun treats for everyone at work.

I started by making these Midnight Kisses. I went to the dollar store and bought some Champagne glasses and filled them with silver and purple paper shred. Using part of the November release,  I then embossed a bunch of kisses with the Happy New Year, Happy Hour Candies and the Valentine Candies stamp sets.

Then using my Cameo I cut out the shadow layer for the couple on The Perfect Match stamp set. Next I attached them to a pick and placed them in the glass with the kisses. The sentiment is from the Happy New Year set and it's a perfect match for my couple.

Then for some fun, I used the gusset bags and filled them with beads, some more kisses and a noise maker. For the topper I used the Scallop Slider and Topper Die and made my pattern paper by embossing the Holiday Treat Tags.

Next I cut out the shadow layer for the mask from the Happy New Year set, colored it, gave them a Wink of Stella, some Stickles and popped it on top.

I used the Happy New Year stamp set for the sentiment on the insert for the bag.

There are endless ideas using Jaded Blossom products, I love being able to see everyone's crafty take on all the products and of course I love getting my happy mail!!!!!

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and cheers to finding lots of time to craft in the upcoming year!

Guest Designer Christine!

Hi everyone and Merry Christmas Eve to all of you who celebrate.  Christine here.. I'm so excited for Christmas tomorrow.  My two year old is going to be beside himself I think :)  I just can't wait, he's finally beginning to understand Christmas and I think tomorrow is going to be awesome :)  Today is an exciting day for me in the crafting world.  As you know, I mostly showcase copic markers and rubber or digi stamp projects on my blog.  However, I got my start in crafting working with my Cricut and Silhouette machines and I still pull them out from time to time (I wish I had even more time to work with them, they are so much fun).  Today, I get to be a guest designer today for Jaded Blossom Stamps.  If I had unlimited funds, I would truly purchase every stamp set and every die cut they make, that's for sure! :) Unfortunately, I don't have unlimited funds, but I have been able to take advantage of some sales and have purchased some adorable candy stamps.  Here's my project:

For my project, I made this adorable castle treat box.  I made the actual treat box myself.  I cut the castle out using the Once Upon a Pricess Cricut Cartridge.  I then stamped a mixture of Royal Candies and Villain Candies (the Villain Candies are on clearance for $6 so go scoop them up!).  These are SO fun and so easy to do.  Just stamp them onto your cardstock, punch them out with a 3/4" punch, and then adhere them to the base of your Hershey Kiss candy using either Glue Dots or Scor Tape or some other adhesive of your choice.  It's really that simple and it really spruces up a homemade treat :)  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  I hope you enjoyed my project  and make sure to check out Jaded Blossom Stamps, they are fabulous! :)  Hugs!

Guest Designer Larelyn!

Hi Crafty Friends, Larelyn here..

I was so lucky to be given another opportunity to be a guest designer for Jaded Blossom.  You know how much I love their stamps and dies - a bit of an addiction, I think!  Thanks Michelle and Candace for the second go round and for feeding my addiction.

Since Christmas is only three days away I figured it's time to think beyond Christmas from a crafty standpoint.  So, I've made this cute little Valentine treat box using Jaded Blossom goodies.

For this "sweet treat," I used the Goodie Bag Die, Mini Tag Dies 2, Valentine Dies and a stamp from Sprinkled with Love.  The sweet Lil Cupid Girl is a digital stamp from Digi My World.
The image is colored with Copic Markers.  I added a little sparkle with Wink of Stella and Stickles.
Thanks for stopping by.  Have a very Merry Christmas!!!

Guest Designer, Dottie!

Happy Sunday everyone!

I'm Dottie at DW Paper Designs and I am so thankful
to be the guest designer today. I am part of a crafting group and I needed
to create something for my secret santa. I decided I wanted to make a mini album,
but wanted to make it extra special! So I created this mini album box.

Here is the box closed.

Inside the box has 4 envelopes, each one decorated a little differently.

I used the Layered Frame and Journal die to make a place for a photo.

Here are the various tags that fit in the pockets
and even a small 3 page album there on the right.

The box is made of chipboard, and I used strips of kraft to bind it
together. The paper is all Graphic 45 and Stampin Up.
I used a ton of Jaded Blossom supplies. The poinsettia is made with the
leaf from Spring Dies, I also used the Fancy Topper on the lid. Inside the lid is the
Wine Tag. On the pages I used the Christmas Dies. For all the sayings
inside and on the outside I chose the Elegant Holiday Greetings.
(one of my favorite new Christmas stamp sets)

I hope you enjoyed my project and a big thank you to the ladies
at Jaded Blossom for this opportunity!

Have a wonderful week everyone.

Guest Designer, Georgiana!

Hello Crafty Friends,

This is Georgiana from Carson's Creations and I am SUPER excited to be a Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom. I love these stamps...they always put a smile on my face. Thank you Michelle and Candace for allowing me to be a part of this special month.

My Guest Designer Project...
A Santa and an elf treat box using the Jaded Blossom Christmas Poop stamp set. Of course, I used Hershey Kisses for the treat!

The boxes are from Silhouette on-line store.

A close-up of the funny, but slightly odd-humor stamp. My students will surely enjoy them. Since they are 10 years old, they will think these are "cool".

The bottoms of the Hershey Kisses are decorated with Christmas Candies stamp.
Other materials can be found on my blog.

Thanks again Candace and Michelle for allowing me to be a Guest Designer. I am looking forward to all the projects from the rest of the Guest Designers this month!

Stay Creative,
Georgiana

Guest Designer, Deb!

Hey Jaded Blossom Fans!!
It's Deb, from Deb's Paper Palooza!  I am truely honored and excited to be guest designing for Jaded Blossom today.  The awesome DT here is what reeled me into paper crafting just about 2 years ago...and I've been having fun using their products and belonging to the garden ever since!

I wanted to create a really special project for today.  I've put together this little hot cocoa gift set that would be a great little gift to give away this holiday season!

Recipe:

Cup Wrapper and Mini cupcake tray from SVG Cutting files.  On the Mini cupcake tray I took out one of the holes and then resized the other 2 to fit the cup and the ornament.

Thanks for stopping in to check out my project!  Make sure you stop by the JB blog everyday this month to see all the other fabulous projects the guest DT's are going to showcase for you!
