I am sharing a birthday card for some Jaded Blossom inspiration today.

I created this bright and colorful card so it could be used

for either a masculine or feminine birthday card.

Birthday Shaker Card

Happy Monday my crafty friends and happy Memorial Day too!!

Yesterday was my husband's birthday and 

today I am sharing the card I created for him. 

I decided to create a shaker card as I have not made one of those

in a long while and I wanted his card to be special.

I let my background papers dictate my color choices for my card.

Pair of Sunburst Birthday Card

May the Fourth be with you!! Marcia on the blog today.  :)  While my Jaded Blossom projects today are not Star Wars themed, I do think they are pretty fun. (LOL) Using my favorite cover die, I created a pair of birthday cards inspired by fellow DT Jamie. I love how she used a rainbow of colors. There are 15 spaces about the center sun, so I selected 5 colors and repeated them three times. Assembly really wasn't too time consuming and the end result is always worth the effort.

Happiest of Days

Marcia on the Jaded Blossom blog today with another sunburst card. I love this die! As with other cards I've shared, I used the negatives from the Sunburst Die to create the background.

I stamped the sentiment within the white sun and added puffy clouds (that are actually cupcake tops from the birthday dies.. LOL). A wee patch of grass is all this sweet bunny needs, as he catches a drop of sun on his nose. :)

Frappe Birthday

Frappe birthday!!! Marcia from The Frolicking Fairy taking over the JB blog today.  I've created this fun, no-coloring card for Jaded Blossom. I had a lot of fun mashing together various die sets to create this fun layout. This project is also more inspiration for our current coffee-themed January Challenge (still no entries as I write this blog).

I started by inking the Coffee Stain stencil onto my folding card base, adding some blue to the card edges. Then, after inking all of the die cut pieces, I assembled the cupcake and nerdy frappe atop a die cut doily. The frappe was adhered with dimension, but less than your typical foam tape which was used for the sentiment. Likewise, I did not glue the doily edges flat to the paper, giving that extra element of dimension and shadow. Isn't this just so cute?!

Yeti or Not...

Hi everyone! Von Marie here, Happy New Year!! I have a Birthday Project to share as I have many many Birthdays coming up.  I used so many of my favorite Jaded Blossom stamps and Dies!!

Here is what I made:

I wanted to use this cute Yeti for Christmas from Yeti To Party but didn't get a chance to so, I used it for a Winter Birthday instead.  I first stamped the Yeti onto Navy Blue cardstock with black ink and then colored it in with my Prismacolor Colored Pencils.  I then fussy cut the Yeti out.  I was trying to match the Yeti from the Doodlebug Design Winter Wonderland paper pack.  

I used the Folding Gift Card Die with the rectangle insert from the Goody Bag Die for my layer.  I also used the Mini Tag Dies 3 for my sentiment strip which I stamped my sentiment onto in blue ink.  I added a scarf from the Snowman Dies also using the same Doodlebug paper and the matching Glitter Sprinkles. I also added Sparkle onto the scarf with my Spectrum Noir clear glitter pen.

I used the same die for the rectangle insert but I used the gift card die from the Gift Box Slider Bundle to hold my gift card in place.  I also added a Party Hat from the Birthday Dies using pattern and glitter paper.

 Lastly, I stamped the closure and added another glitter sprinkle.  I hope you like my Gift Card Holder.  Thank you so much for stopping by!

Candy Bar Wrapper Birthday Treat

Happy Monday!!  Nicole here today.  I hope you had a fantastic Easter weekend!!  Today I am sharing a birthday treat idea - 

I started off using the SVG Cuts "freebie" file Candy Bar Wrapper.  I decorated the top of the wrapper using Jaded Blossom's Birthday Dies and Jaded Blossom's Bow Dies.  

On the inside I used the Jaded Blossom Birthday Dies to cut out the present.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Nom Nom stamp set.

The candy bar is about 3 x 61/2 inches to give you an idea how big the finished project is.  There is still room to add a gift card or some birthday cash if you want ;)

Ice Cream Sundae Treat Bag

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I am sharing this treat holder I made using my Jaded Blossom supplies.

I started this project with the Ric Rac Topper Die and added it to a 3 X 4 Inch Clear Bag that I filled with candy.

I created the ice cream sundae using several die sets.

The wrapper is from the Coffee Dies and the ice cream layers and cherry are from the Birthday Dies.

I gave it a chocolate topping cut with the Halloween Dies and added the spoon cut from the Baking Dies.

To finish, I added some twine and stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Treats stamp set.

You Make My Heart Happy Valentine Card

Hi everyone!

Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner to share a simple Valentine themed card that I created using those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps and dies!

I created my shaped card base by using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 and cutting them from some white cardstock. I decided to do a bit of inlay die-cutting for my card. I created my layer by using the Rectangle Dies 2 and cutting it from some pink cardstock. I used some fun patterns from Doodlebug and various hearts from the Heart Dies 2 and Banner Dies to create my hearts. I heat embossed my greeting using some white embossing powder and a sentiment from the Fancy Valentine stamp set. I completed my card by adding some small white hearts from the Birthday Dies. 

So clean and simple but I love how it turned out!!
