Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing this simple spring floral project. I have been inspired by the birds and the bees and flowers in my backyard for this card.

I chose a neutral background to highlight the die cut the flowers from Flower Dies in gradient purple cardstock.  I die cut the stamens from Tropical Flower Dies in the complementary color yellow and added black centers to the flowers to match the cardstock base.

I stamped a sentiment from Everyday Vertical Greetings onto a strip from the Rectangle Strip Card Mat Die and tucked it behind one of the flowers to finish off the card.

 Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Larelyn from Handmade From My Heart.  It's my day to post a Jaded Blossom project.

I have loved Jaded Blossom for many, many years so my stamp and die collection is quite extensive.

I categorize many of my stamps by theme but I also have 3 shoeboxes full of general stamps, easy to forget what I have since I never got on the record keeping train.

Anyhoo - I thought it would be fun to do a blind selection and create a project from whatever I picked out - sight unseen- from my collection.

Here's my project using the G'Day Mate stamp set (randomly selected.)

I also used 3 dies from the Card Mat Dies, the Birch Tree and Vine Stencils and some leaves from the Tropical Flowers Dies.  The image was cut using a Scan N Cut and colored using Copics.

For My Mom

 Hello, friends! Cynthia here sharing a new project just in time for Mother's Day! I love flowers and the Tropical Flower Dies are perfect for this special occasion!

I die cut the little flowers in a light pink and edged each one with Distress Ink. I punched 3/8" circles for the centers and used some gold glittery gems for some added dimension. I die cut some greenery for accents from the die set. I used the barrel die for the foundation of the bouquet and added the wooden sign to highlight "MOM" from the Gnome Dies: Spring Add Ons. 

I die cut a white background and also die cut a farmer's market themed patterned paper for the base. I added a sentiment from the Mother's Day set and the card is done!

I started with the Card Mat Die and added a layer with the Stitched Circle Dies. Then I layered some flowers from the Flower Dies and Tropical Dies. I stamped a sentiment from So Many Birthdays 5 to the Flag Dies 2. I finished off the card with some sequins.

Happy Mother’s Day

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing a new Mother’s Day Card. We usually see lots of florals for this special event, but I decided to use some greenery to celebrate mothers! I stamped “Happy Mother’s Day” in teal using the Mother’s Day stamp set. I used the Tropical Flowers Dies 2 to die cut the different tropical leaves in different shades of green. I added a pop of yellow with one of the flower centers to add some interest. 

I trimmed a neutral black and white background in order to showcase the leaves, framed it in yellow to match the yellow in the greenery, and placed the panel on black cardstock.

Jaded Blossom Mini Embellishment Album

Hi!  It's Marcia on the Jaded Blossom blog today sharing this super cute mini embellishment album I made for my Secret Santa swap partner on the JB Design Team. I used various dies and the new paper pad to embellish this album.

The album was meant to be filled with paper embellishments but it works well for candy too. I think it would be great for smaller gifts, treats, and a gift card. All-in-one gift! And, the recipient can reuse themselves or fill for someone else.

I followed this tutorial by Pinkstrawberryz on YouTube, with two pocket modifications. I used 6" wide paper instead of 6.5" and created a box fold on the bottom (with those additional tabs -- see below) instead of the way she shares in her video. The little Stitch characters are clipart I purchased from Etsy.

I love using vellum and this inner vellum envelope is a great way to tuck things inside but allowing them to be seen as well.

I hope Ms. Jamie enjoyed receiving it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Peach Blossom Card and Tag

Happy Valentine's Day!  Thank you to everyone that joined me (Marcia) on my Live this past Friday night on the Jaded Blossom Facebook page. You can catch the replay HERE if you missed it.

I completed the card and tag shown, inspired by the Chinese new year. Peach Blossoms are such beautiful flowers and symbolize romance, prosperity, and growth. They can be found in many decorations in celebration of the new year. I let their soft pink color guide my color scheme on both the card and tag.

Be A Pineapple Card

Good morning!  Marcia here from The Frolicking Fairy.  Today I am sharing a card using the Jaded Blossom Monthly Spotlight stamp set Be A Pineapple, currently on sale for $10.99. I layered several purple flowers behind my sentiment label to complement all of the yellow. I just adore this sweet pineapple!

To color the pineapple, I scribbled my waterbased markers onto the stamp itself before stamping -- Pale Orange, Ochre, and Grass Karin Markers -- then used a damp brush to pull the color out and color the image. I stamped the face in VersaFine Onyx Black and added a wee bit of Rose Pink to her cheeks. A wee flower was added at the base of her "crown" and the card was assembled.

Bug Birthday!

I created a background with the Bitten Leaf Stencil on a Card Mat Die. Then I stamped and colored the grasshopper from Bug Me Anytime and added it to a Tropical Flower Die. I used a leaf from Flower Dies. Last I added the sentiment from the same stamp set to a Mini Tag Die 3.

Owl's Witch Hat

Hello Everyone! Mel from Doxie Mel Designs with anew project idea for you. I have been decorating for Halloween and thought my owl cookie jar would like to have a witch hat. I found the hat file at the Silhouette Design Store and added embellishments from Jaded Blossom. The hat band is trimmed with bats from Jaded Blossom's Halloween Banner Die. I made Halloween flowers with Jaded Blossom's Tropical Dies, layering them and attaching with a brad. 

The sentiment is from "Be Witchy" stamps and is stamped on one of the Mini Tag 3 Dies. Here is a closer look at Owl's Witch Hat.
