Goodbye Card

Happy Monday my crafty friends!!
Nicole here today to share some Jaded Blossom crafty inspiration with you.
How are things in your neck of the woods??
We have been in a heat wave over here on the West Coast - 110 degrees yesterday!!
I saw it as a perfect opportunity to hunker down in the air conditioned house and craft!!

Today I have a card to share that I recently created for a sweet coworker that is moving.

I used the following Jaded Blossom products on today's card -

It's never easy to say goodbye to a sweet coworker!!
She definitely sparkles and this sentiment was perfect for her!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Thank You for Making Me Shine Bright!

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here to share a fun gift basket with you!

I create a tag for end of the year teacher gifts. I started with the Treat Tag Die and added the sunburst from Spring Splatters. Then I masked and used part of a stamp from Teacher Appreciation, I wrote in "ME" with a black fineline marker. Last I stamped a sentiment from Sparkle and Shine to a Mini Tag Die 3.

I attached the tag to the cellophane wrapped basket with some twine.

I created baskets for each of my boys teachers and assistants.

I wanted to fill the basket with bright and sunshiny items, so I searched a number of stores for the items you see. Hidden in the back are some lemonheads and a sparkling lemon water too! Last I added a mini gnome I created and added a custom button with their name on the hat.

Recipe-

Jaded Blossom - Treat Tag Die, Sparkle and Shine, Mini Tag Dies 3, Teacher Appreciation, Spring Splatters

Basket - Dollar Tree

All Yellow filler items found at Walgreens, Target and Walmart

Mini Custom Gnomes - VinVan Knits

Thanks for stopping!

Peach Blossom Card and Tag

Happy Valentine's Day!  Thank you to everyone that joined me (Marcia) on my Live this past Friday night on the Jaded Blossom Facebook page. You can catch the replay HERE if you missed it.

I completed the card and tag shown, inspired by the Chinese new year. Peach Blossoms are such beautiful flowers and symbolize romance, prosperity, and growth. They can be found in many decorations in celebration of the new year. I let their soft pink color guide my color scheme on both the card and tag.

Supplies used:
Warrior Princess (part of Warrior Bundle)
Sparkle and Shine
Tropical Flower Dies (25% off this month)
Mini Tag Dies 3
Treat Tag Die
Rectangle Dies 2
Diamond Dies
Mesh Stencil

Inks for Blending:
Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink
Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink
Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink

Don't forget that all items in the Flowers category are 25% off this month -- that includes the dies I used for these projects! The February Flower Power Challenge is still open as well (with no entries as of this post). We'd love to see any flower projects you create!

Hello Sunshine Jars

Hey Everyone!

Jamie here and I have a fun gift to share with you today!

I found some jar cups in the Dollar Spot at Target and filled them with all things yellow! Then I created a tag with the Luggage Tag Die. I added the sun from Spring Dies 2 and a Happy Face. The sentiment is from Technology Challenge and then I stamped one from Sparkle and Shine onto a Card Mat Die.

Here's a look inside. The jar is filled with Juicy Fruit, Butterfingers, Banana Laffy Taffy, Butterscotch candies, chapstick, lemonade mix, a highlighter, and a few other yellow treats.

Then I created another version of the tag using a sentiment from Rain or Shine for the office staff at my boy's school!

Shine Bright

Happy Monday AND April Fools!! Nicole here today and sorry to disappoint but I am not "fooling" you this time around ;) Instead I have a spring inspired card to share with you.  We have enjoyed some beautiful spring like weather out here in the Pacific Northwest but I am well aware not everyone has been receiving the same weather so this is my way of sharing some "spring" with all of you!! Hope it brightens your day!!

I started off by creating my background using some distress inks on watercolor paper.  I cut out my cloud border using the "Border Dies 2" and added some diamond stickles on the edge.  The sun is cut out from the "Spring Dies 2" and the face is stamped using "Big Eye Faces".  My whole background layer is cut out using "Card Mat Dies" and lastly I stamped a sentiment from "Sparkle and Shine".

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

You're A Gem

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I am sharing this beaded bookmark holder I made using my Jaded Blossom supplies.

I made this beaded bookmark for a friend and wanted cute packaging for it so I came up with this.
I started this project with the Pocket Tag Die and cut it out along with the mat layer.
I stamped the heart gem from the Gems stamp set and added Stickles to glitz it up.
I stamped the sentiment from the Sparkle And Shine stamp set and added a ribbon to the top.
The inside card was cut with the Goody Bag Die and I punched a hole in the center top to thread the bookmark into it, taping the back with washi tape.
I also added the scallop edge cut from the Pocket Tag Die to the top of the card.
To finish, I stamped the thanks you sentiment and hearts from the Thank You Card stamp set.

I hope you all liked my project for today and thanks for visiting!
