Guest Designer Dottie

Hey Everyone!

It's been great being this month's guest designer and what a
wonderful release!

It seems all my friends are pregnant right now and I'm crazy into baby showers.
I love baby showers, they are such a fun happy time. Thanks to
Jaded Blossom's amazing dies and stamps I am lucky enough to be able to
create beautiful favors, banners and other items.

Today I have some favors I made using the Scallop Circle Dies and Sweet Baby stamp
set. As you can see this is an elephant themed shower.

I used the Scallop Circle Dies to create this It's A Boy banner, I love how these dies make banners putting banners together so quick and easy!

I keep seeing these cute guest books on Etsy and figured I could make that.
The birthday dies made it so easy and the faux stitching just makes them perfect!

A special thanks to Michelle and Candace for allowing me to be the guest designer for my second time! I feel very blessed.

Baby Word Book

Hello! Mel from Doxie Mel Designs with a word book for a new baby.  I love to spell out the baby's name but lately my friends and family have been naming their children with very long names.  I find that names longer that six letters are just too big to make this style of album. The base to this album is new from SVG Cutting Files. The book is decorated with stamps and dies from Jaded Blossom. I added a few items from SVG Cutting Files' Kawaii Baby Things as well. The new Stitched Square and Circle dies are used for photo mats. When I give these as gifts, I include a template so they can crop their photos to fit the photo mats. If the new mom was crafty, sending a set of dies along with the word album would be a great idea. :)

Here is a peek inside~

It's A Girl

Good Morning! It's Sara from Design a Party by Sara!
It's my day here at Jaded Blossom to share a project with you.
I was asked to create some baby shower items for a friend. I love the theme they had picked out. They wanted a woodland animal theme and to use brown and pink. She sent me a pic for reference so I went from there.
Here is what I created for her.

I usually don't make the treat part, I only make the container in which it will go in but she asked if I could make these fun little acorn treats. They were really easy.
Here are the acorns. I used the mini nutter butter cookies, Hershey kisses, melted chocolate squares and chocolate chips. I pulled the nutter butter cookies apart and scraped the peanut butter filling out. I unwrapped all of the kisses.  I dipped the kiss into the melted chocolate and then added the cookie top, dipped the chocolate chip into the melted chocolate and added it to the top of the cookie. They were really easy to make.

The JB products that I used were

I used my cricut and my favorite cartridge Create a Critter for these adorable little critters.

She also wanted a banner with the baby's name to put in the nursery after the shower.

I used the Banner Shapes Simple from SVG cutting Files and the critters from create a critter once again.

I hope you enjoyed my shower decorations today!

Hello Sweet Baby

Hello Everyone! Mel from Doxie Mel Designs with a shaped card for you today.  A friend of mine is having baby girl so I wanted to make a card for the occasion. This sweet little dress card is really fun to decorate. The dress is from SVG Cutting Files.  The flower border from the Spring Die Collection makes a perfect "trim" for the bodice of this dress.

Hello Sweet Baby Lollipop

Hey JB peeps!!
Candace from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses here today with a fun little project for a baby girl!
As much as I LOVE my cameo, I think it's awesome to be able to create a project without it using only dies. I took some baby wash clothes from the dollarstore, rolled them up, added a stick to the back and wrapped cellophane wrap around them to make it look like a little lollipop.

I thought this would be a fun little gift to add to the envelope of a baby card, or onto the outside of a gift.

I used a combination of two sets of Jaded Blossom dies (Treat Tag Die and Mini Tag Dies) to make my tag and tied it on with some twine.

I also used the Treat Tag Die to make the tag on my card and the hexagon die from the Mini Tag Dies to create a fun little pattern. The 'Hello Sweet Baby' sentiment fit perfectly on my banner die, which I popped up using foam stickers to add dimension.

Here is what I used to make my project...
- Pebbles Special Delivery Girl Collection
- Twinery Twine
- Sequins

I hope you all enjoyed my baby card and lollipop today!! Keep your ears and eyes open for information on the new release for April!! It's a super fun one!
