Love Is In The Air...

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!!
Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner here today
and I created a fun Galentine's Day card to share with you.

Here is how I made my card...
I covered a white A2 cardbase with some pretty floral patterned paper and doodled around the perimeter with a dark brown Micron Pen. I created my coffee cup by using the Coffee Slider Die along with the Coffee Slider Add On Die for the Scalloped Sleeve. I stamped my sentiment using some Kraft colored ink and the Kiss Me A Latte stamp set onto my sleeve, centering it the best that I could. I die cut some hearts from the Heart Dies 2, Banner Dies, Embellishment Clusters Die and the Build A Booth: Valentine Add Ons and placed them onto my cup. I used the Bow Dies for a couple of small white bows to add to the bigger hearts and finished my card with a fun pair of lips from the Build A Booth: Valentine Add Ons.

I just love how this turned out!

I hope you have a great crafty day!

Fries Over Guys!

Happy Friday friends! I've been trying to get back to eating low carb and cutting out sugar because that's what works for me and my body when it comes to getting healthier and losing weight. Lately though, I've been having a mad craving for fries! When Jaded Blossom came out with the new Sentiment Strip Dies, the first thing I saw when I cut a strip from yellow cardstock was....FRIES, hahaha! So I decided to try and create a Fries Gift Card Slider using products from the Jaded Blossom Store. I even included a tutorial for you!

FRIES GIFT CARD SLIDER TUTORIAL

Step 1: I used the Coffee Slider Die to create the stack of fries and the fry carton. Use the sleeve die to cut two pieces from red cardstock and glue together to form the sleeve. Use the coffee cup insert die and cut the coffee cup insert from yellow cardstock.

Step 2: Slide the yellow cup into the red sleeve and draw a line at the bottom of the yellow cup so you know where to trim it off. Trim off the bottom of the cup and the little tabs on the sides at the top of the cup (I already trimmed them off before taking pictures).

Step 3: Using the largest Sentiment Strip Die, cut several strips from yellow cardstock. I cut around 25 strips. You might not use them all. I think my project used about 22 strips.

Step 4: Glue the strips to the yellow cup base. I I staggered my first layer of fries when covering the cup base so I did have to trim off overhang from the bottom. Next, I cut some of the strips shorter and angled them so the fries were laying at different angles.

Step 5: Attach your gift card to the back of the cup base with double stick tape or rubber cement. I did not seal the bottom of the red slider, but if you are worried about the gift card falling through, you can always add some glue to the bottom of the red slider.

Step 6: I cut a yellow label using Label Shape Dies 1. The sentiment is from Galentine's Day Stamp Set. And.....voila.....your Fries Gift Card Slider is complete!

Remember, Jaded Blossom has a current ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE. You have until April 30th to play along for a chance to win a free stamp set! And, be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.

Rosie

Friend-a-saurus Coffee Slider

Happy Friday everyone! Before I get to my project, I wanted to remind you that we have our "ANYTHING GOES" Challenge going on until July 30th at Jaded Blossom! You still have time to enter it for a chance to win a FREE Stamp Set. All you have to do to qualify is use at least 1 item from the Jaded Blossom Store....easy peasy!

For my project today, I used one of my favorite dies called the Coffee Slider Die. It creates the cutest gift card holder! Since I'm still on a dinosaur high from the June Release, I decided to make this holder with a dino theme. I used the Mini Dino Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks to create the pattern on the main coffee holder shape. On the kraft koozie and lid top, I used a stencil that might seem out of place....can you tell which stencil it is? It's the Knit Stitch Stencil! When I looked at it, it kind of looked like dino foot prints and also leaves so I used it to create the backdrop to my dinos. The dinosaurs are from the Prehistoric Age Stamp Set

On the inside gift card holder part, I used patterned paper for the main area, and the Knit Stitch Stencil on kraft paper for the lid. The faux washi tape was created using one of the stamps from Dinosaur Candies. That awesome sentiment is from the Friend-a-Saurus Stamp Set. I just trimmed it down.

We hope you play along in the JULY Challenge for a chance to win a FREE Stamp Set! Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.

You still have time to play along with us! The deadline to link up your card is Saturday, August 1st at 11:59pm PST for a chance to win a FREE stamp set of your choice!

Since this month's release was all about coffee, I decided to combine the coffee theme with the Red, White, and Blue Challenge. I used this adorable gal from the set called JAVA TIME. Isn't she CUTE?!
The best part is that this set is 40% off right now during the JULY CELEBRATION SALE (7/10-7/25)!!

 Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E13
Hair: E42, E47, E49

Blue: B06, B97, B99
White: C3, C5, Colorless Blender
Black: C5, C8, Black

I recently ordered some Jaded Blossom dies, and one of my new favorites is the COFFEE SLIDER DIE. It makes the perfect gift card holder for your coffee loving friends. It's also part of the sale and is 20% off!! To create the coffee bean background I used the new COFFEE BEAN STENCIL (hurry, only 2 of these left in the store) with Broken China and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks. The patterned red, white and blue paper is from Doodlebug Design Land That I Love 6x6 Paper Pad. The "Hope Your Birthday is Grande" sentiment came from the new FRAPPE BIRTHDAY CLEAR STAMP SET.

Here you can see how the top of it slides out to show the gift card. I raised the Java girl and sentiment on foam tape for extra dimension.

We hope you come play along with us! And be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store to grab all those deals from the July Celebration Sale!! They also have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.
