Hello Pumpkin

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing a new fall card. I adore this time of year! I look forward to the crisp, cool air, soup, and pumpkin spice every autumn season. Fall cards also help set the comfy mood!

The card base is made up of the Card Mat Die and the Triangle Card Mat Die. They both work to frame pumpkin papers. I die cut the gnome using the Fall Add Ons for the pumpkin hat and the Outdoor Add Ons for his legs and boots. I colored up the red beard and mustache with Copic Markers.

I also die cut the wheat stalks from the Farm Scenic Die set, and added the heart from the Sweetheart Add Ons. I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Fall Gnomie stamp set and coordinating outline dies.

Pot of Gold

Hi friends! It's Julee here, and I have a fun card to share with you today! I'm a little obsessed with the pot of gold from the Gnome Dies: Pot of Gold Add-ons. It's the perfect size for both cards and treat making! Here I used it for a quick card along with the fabulous Triangle Card Mat Die. I chose some gingham prints in rainbow colors for the background, then added the pot of gold created with black and gold cardstock.  I finished off with a sentiment from Lucky Vibes cut with the coordinating outline dies.  Easy peasy!

I shared this little chocolate treat box on my blog during sneak peeks, but thought I'd share it again here, since it's a different way to use the pot of gold dies. Lindor chocolates are a favorite at our house, and my son calls them chocolate fat balls, since they're high in fat. LOL. He's a bit of a chocolate connoisseur, and his favorite are the extra dark. They just happen to have black and gold labels, perfect for a St. Patrick's Day treat!

I used two pot of gold die cuts, cutting a hole in the center of one with the coin die from the same die set. I then made a little platform to hold them together by cutting cardstock approximately 1-3/8" x 2.5", scoring 3/8" on each of the long ends, then gluing between the two pots. I cut the coins from gold cardstock, then added the Lindor chocolate behind the hole and glued the two pieces together at the top. You can still reach through the side to get the chocolate out.

The sentiment is from the Clovers for Sale set, and I embossed in gold, then cut with the rectangle from the Build a Booth die set and matted with gold cardstock.  I used the clover balloon and string dies from the Gnome Dies: Pot of Gold Add-ons to make a little sign, then finished with the 17 cents die cuts from the Build a Booth: Clover Add-ons.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! May the luck o' the Irish be with you!

A Poinsettia for Christmas

 Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Larelyn from Handmade From My Heart.  Today is my day to share here on the blog.

I'm still working towards having enough holiday cards on hand to be ready for Christmas mailing in early December.  Here's another design using our Triangle Card Mat Dies.

These were so easy to put together and I love the effect of patterned papers within the triangles.  I used the Small Poinsettia Die set for the focal point cutting the petals in 3 shades of red.  The sentiment is from the Elegant Holiday Greetings set stamped onto one of the Flag Die shapes.

Hippity Hoppity Card

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing an Easter card! I love the feeling of renewal during this time of year. It's a time of refresh, growth, and renewal!

I used lots of fun products from the store! The Square Mat Die is so versatile and can be used for every season. Just change the patterned papers and its super quick and easy to create a spring card! The Clear Jar stamp set is the perfect foundation also. Just add on one of images and it becomes a happy little jar of marshmallow peeps! I just colored them up with pastel Copic Markers and the jar is finished.

I added a dainty bow from the Bow Dies set, stamped a sentiment from the Floral Bunny Ears stamp set, and die cut with the Mini Tags Die set. This card was super easy and fun!

Supplies:

  • Clear Jar stamp set
  • Clear Jar Spring Add Ons stamp set
  • Bow Dies
  • Mini Tag Dies
  • Triangle Mat Dies
  • Floral Bunny Ears stamp set
  • Simple Stories patterned cardstock
  • Stampin' Up! ink
  • Copic Markers

Happy Easter to my Peeps

 Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Larelyn from Handmade From My Heart back again to share a quick Easter card project.

For this card I used:
If the items you want are currently sold out, be sure to add your name to the restock notification list!

I actually had the frame in my stash of extra cuts from a previous project.  I ran the triangles through my Cuttlebug using the dotted swiss embossing folder and then mounted the frame and triangles over a mat cut from the Doodlebug Designs Easter pad.  The peeps were stamped and then fussy cut - easy peasy.  I just added the sentiment with an offset and some baker's twine.

Thanks for stopping in today.
