Elephant Themed Baby Shower Invites

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I am sharing these Baby Shower invitations I made using my Jaded Blossom supplies.

I did these invitations for my Niece's upcoming Baby Shower. Her theme is Elephants and I knew I wanted to use the super cute elephant stamp from the Elephantastic stamp set.
I also decided to personalize the invites a little bit more by stamping the backs of the envelopes too.
I stamped all the elements using several stamp sets that I will list at the bottom.
I colored everything with Copic markers and mounted them to a standard A2 card base.

*** The Misti stamping tool was a true asset to this project!

SUPPLIES
Elephantastic- elephant
Flower Cluster- leaves and dot clusters
Baby Planner- Baby Shower
Invitations Galore- Date, Time, Place, RSVP
Journal Calendar- Sunday and OCT
Fun Money- Grid and date numbers
Snips and Snails- It's A Boy and You're Invited

I hope you all liked my projects for today and thanks for visiting!

Sock Monkey Pencil Valentines

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I am sharing these fun pencil Valentines I made.

These would be super fun to make with your kids instead of buying store bought Valentines.
I started these with the Scallop Slider and Topper Die and cut them out adding the pencil holder slots to the sides.
I paper pieced the monkey from the Monkey See Monkey Do stamp set and cut them out by hand.
I added a heart cut with the Heart Dies 1 and stamped the sentiment from the Valentine Signs stamp set.
I cut the sentiment banners using the Mini Tag Dies 2 and stamped the "To" and "From" from the Fun Money stamp set.
To finish, I added the pencil and pop dotted the heart and monkey to the front.

I hope you all liked my project for today and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Poinsettia

Hey everyone!  It's Candace from Candi O. Designs and it's my day over at Jaded Blossom and I am sharing a project I made using the Monthly Spotlight Stamp Set ~ "Poinsettia".
This stamp set is awesome for doing 2 step stamping where I used versa mark and silver embossing powder for the outline on the flower and leaves.  You can also copic color just the outline or stamp the base on colored paper...lots of different ways to use this set!!  It's hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner so I created this little treat with a tag which I embellished with the embossed poinsettia.

Products Used:
Paper: Simple Stories ~ DIY Christmas
Cardstock: American Crafts
Silver Embossing Powder, Twine, Ribbon and Sequins

I hope you all liked my project for today and don't forget to get
your own Poinsettia Stamp Set at a great price this month!

Guest Designer ~ Lorie Ames

I am SO excited to be a Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom today!

I took advantage of this wonderful timing to make my step-daughters gifts pretty for Christmas this year.  We do mail to her and I'm so thrilled to be ahead of the game this year!  One little thing to tell you before we move on is that I've used papers from the same paper pack for these projects...an older retired SU! paper pack (isn't it adorable?).  All stamps and dies (minus the bear) are from Jaded Blossom.

 Without further ado, my projects:

One gift that we get her every year is a gift card.  Being that she lives about 4 hours from us I think it is just better for her to be able to pick something she really wants and we encourage her to purchase something she would not normally purchase for herself...last year she got a beautiful Coach bag!.  With that in mind I was super excited to use the new Folded Gift Card Die.  Above is the outside of the gift card holder.  I gussied it up with a cute bear and coffee cup as well as a sentiment from the Season's Tweetings set.

Inside this gift card holder is made special by using the template from the Fun Money set as well as a sentiment from the Gift Cards Galore set.  The gift card itself is nestled into the holder with the Gift Card Die (which, by the way I put at an angle on purpose).

In addition to the gift card (and another gift that will go unnamed just in case she reads this, though I doubt it) we got her some warm, comfy, plush socks to wear inside this winter.  I made the belly band by just using a length of the pattered paper and gluing it together in the back.  On top are circles from the Scalloped Circle and Stitched Circle Dies.  The CaUTE sentiment is from the Holiday Pampering set.

And finally I made a card to put into the box.  This card uses a bunch of Jaded Blossom as well!  I've used the Christmas Luggage Tag for the main sentiment which I cut with the Scalloped Circle and Stitched Circle Dies, the tree border and holly elements are made with the Christmas Dies. And there you have it!  I think she is going to LOVE this set and I cannot wait for her to open it!

Thank you to Candace and Michelle for having me today..I really had fun putting all of this together!
