Be Mine!

 Happy Friday friends! It's Rosie here today sharing another Anniversary card using my hubby's favorite colors. We celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary on July 3rd! Time is moving way to quickly! A couple of weeks ago I shared a Lava Anniversary Card. Today, I went a little more fancy. Hubby's favorite color is blue and he prefers silver over gold so that is what inspired this card. He's also a no frills kind of guy so I kept this clean and simple.

I used the Fancy Heart Die and cut the heart from metallic silver cardstock (purchased at Hobby Lobby). Then I used the Square Internal Scallops Dies 1 to frame the heart. The sentiment is from the Love You Lots Stamp Set. The tag for the sentiment was created using Mini Tag Dies 3.

It's Larelyn from Handmade From My Heart.

Today I'm sharing a card using a technique that I have seen several card makers use and I've been wanting to try it.

I used the Fancy Hearts die to create the textured background on the card mat. I cut multiples of the die and then arranged them on the card mat.  I trimmed the excess and added just a few of the pink hearts from the pink die cut heart. I can't wait to try this again with different dies!

You Have A Heart Of Gold!

 Happy Friday everyone! I've been making more "organ" chocolates! For my project today I created two different bag toppers for these chocolate gifts. I found some edible gold powder that I wanted to try out. It works better on the dark chocolate hearts than the pink ones. Live and learn, haha! I also had left over chocolate hearts so I create a different version to give you a bonus idea.

 

I created the bag toppers using the Ric Rac Topper Die. The first set features the heart from Kawaii Guts Stamp Set and one of the sentiments from Organ Donor. I embossed them in gold and colored the main part of the heart with a gold paint pen. The pink was colored in using R81 Copic marker. I outlined the Ric Rac panel with the gold pen also.

 

 

For the second topper, I used the beautiful Fancy Heart Die and the same sentiment from Organ Donor heat embossed in gold.

 

  

I think these chocolate gift sets are perfect for any health care professional in your life! They are a lot of fun to make and they are unique and different. Plus, all our health care professionals deserve an extra treat during these difficult times!

Fancy Hearts Birthday Card

 Happy Friday everyone! It's DT Rosie sharing a Birthday Card I created using the new Jaded Blossom Fancy Hearts Die and a sentiment from Birthday Coffee Art Stamp Set. The entire January Release is AMAZING, and I'm having so much fun creating with these fabulous products! 

 

Today is my beautiful Mother-in-law's Birthday! I created a gold version of this card on a previous post HERE. This time around I went with purple because that's my MIL's favorite color. I used the solid heart die to cut a piece of purple cardstock. Then I backed it with some scortape. Next, I lined up the solid heart cut-out within the die that has all the small hearts. I ran it through my die-cutting machine with a rubber embossing mat under the die so it would not cut all the way through. I wanted the outline of the hearts, but needed all the pieces to stay intact. 

 I stamped one of the sentiments from the Birthday Coffee Art Stamp Set onto white cardstock. I trimmed it, and then used a pink Copic Marker to line the edge of the sentiment piece. I added it on top of the heart with foam tape. To finish it off, I added paper flowers, leaves, and purple enamel dots in the corners.

Hi! Mel from Doxie Mel Designs with a new card idea for you. I used the Heart Die 2 and cut a center heart with the solid heart from the NEW Fancy Heart Die. Next, I used the Falling Heart Stencil with pink ink on the inner heart. The Peanut Butter and Jelly Bread Stamps are from the Kawaii Foods 2 and the face stamps are from the NEW Deep Breath stamp set. The sentiment from Mi Amore is stamped on a Mini Tag Die 2 shape.
