Christmas Ornaments

Hi everyone...every year I make Christmas ornaments for my dining table for each guest...I also make a few extra for friends etc. These were the ornaments this year. Jaded Blossom's Snowman Faces were the starting point. I didn't make a video of these as I just ran out of time...but if you'd like a step by step guide...pan down...I also have a list of all the products that I used. Thanks for stopping by...Hugs Lee-Ann :)
**Check out the Jaded Blossom store HERE

Tutorial:

I started out with 1" wooden blocks that I found on Amazon...I used a small finishing nail to add a small starter hole on the tops of each head block in the center...then I screwed in little eye pins...I found these at the hardware store...just large enough for my black string to fit. I then painted each wood block with the Titanium white matte paint. Let them dry. I then stamped the faces and the buttons using Versafine clair nocturne ink using an acrylic block. ...I let that dry...then I painted the noses with Pure Orange...the tongues with Lipstick red...let that dry. I used an R20 Copic Marker to Add blush to the cheeks...avoiding the ink. I used the Copic Marker E74 to colour in the pipes...avoiding the ink. I then used my Sakura white gelly roll pen to add highlights to the face and buttons. I used a rotary cutter to cut 1/2" strips of flannel for the scarves...I cut strips of black suede string for the hangers. I then took my blocks out to the garage and used a dremel tool to distress the edges. Once that was complete...I used Ranger Matte medium to glue the head block to the body block...I tilted them at an angle for a fun look. Then I let them dry over night. I then tied the scarves around the necks and tied on the hangers...and Voila...you are done.
