I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
It’s Jennifer here and I’m back with another card as Jaded Blossom’s December Guest Designer.
Now I don’t know if any of you are like me, but I think it’s never too early to start building up your stash of Christmas cards, so here is one I’ve made in readiness for next year.
I started with a sheet of pretty patterned paper filled with candy canes, gumdrops, and Christmas goodies that I cut to 5.25x 4 inches and layered it onto a deep pink US A2 card base.
Next, I used Jaded Blossoms’ Wine tag die and cut the shadow layer from some teal card stock and the top layer from some tone-on-tone paper that was from the same patterned paper pack. I trimmed the top off the wine tag with a paper trimmer and once layered together with foam tape it was added to the card base.
I wanted a focal point for my image, so I cut an internal scalloped circle from light pink cardstock and added it to the center of the wine tag.
The adorable reindeer popsicle from the Sweet Christmas Wishes Stamp Set was stamped, colored, and cut out with its matching die and added to the card with more foam.
Finally, the sentiment was stamped in bright pink ink onto white card, out with the coordinating die and placed below the main image and that finished this project.
I’m so pleased with the finished result.
It’s been such a pleasure to have been with you all this month.
Happy New Year everyone
