Beary Best Birthday!

Hey, it is Melissa sharing today, and I am so glad to be sharing
more fun projects with all of you this year!!

The other day, Candace and Michelle put out a sweet new set of stamps called G'day Mate! Congrats to all the December Challenge entries and the December Guest Designers on receiving this fun set and congrats to Jaded Blossom on their 5 year anniversary!

Well, I knew I wanted to use this sweet sentiment from the new stamps immediately and I just love how this card turned out.

I did go completely out of my comfort zone on this one. I hardly ever use ribbon on my projects because I think I'm not great with bows, And I especially never use wide ribbon, but I think it turned out just fine this time. LOL!

I also used the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2, Border Dies, and the Stitched Circle Dies.

The paper came from a sweet 6x6 paper pad that Candace and Michelle sent me for Christmas called Party Girl by Photoplay. Thanks, Chickies, for the fun envelope of goodies. I appreciate you both!

Have a great Tuesday!

Believe in Yourself!

Hey, it is Melissa from M Miranda Creations! It's my day to share and I'm excited about how this gift set turned out!!!

As an older woman, sometimes I think it is important to remind a young lady that no matter what she just needs to believe in herself!!! So that is what this set is about. It will be a gift set to let one special young lady know that I believe in her too!

I decided to make a card and gift box set. The box will be filled with chocolates. Yum!!! For the card, I used Card Mat Dies, Rectangle Dies 2, Bow Dies, Mini Tag Dies 2, and Encouragement.

The box was made from an SVG file from SVG Cuts called Simple Box. I reduced the size so that it would better hold some Ghirardelli Squares. I then used Bow Dies and Mini Tag Dies again - along with Chocoholic for the sentiment. The gray paper is from Co'ordinations and the black card stock is from Papertrey Ink. I added a few black embellishments as well.

So glad you stopped by to take a look!!!

Thinking of You!

Hey, JB Friends!!!

It is Melissa from M Miranda Creations and today I am using some of my favorite dies from Jaded Blossom on my card.

I love the butterfly dies in the Spring Dies 2 set! So I paired them with the Rectangles Dies 1 and a sentiment from Simple Sayings to make this card.

The background paper is from Authentique's Seasons: Summer 6x6 paper pad. This is a beautiful set of papers. And this card would work with lots of different sentiments.

Thank you for stopping in and taking a look!

Mermaid to be Friends!

Happy Tuesday!
I hope you enjoyed your 4th of July holiday. I had a great time celebrating with my brother and his family! How many of you like to go and watch the big firework shows and who likes to just stay home? I love the fireworks, but I can't always get my hubby to go.

It is Melissa from M Miranda Creations here to share with you today. Today I have a sweet card for you using the new Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 and Rectangle Dies 1 and 2. I have also used Mermaid Kisses.

Now, I want you to know that you can use stamped images even if you don't have fancy markers. I have some EK Success and some Martha Stewart colored pencils and I used those to color the image. And, of course, these pencils don't allow all the fancy blending; but my dear friend who I am going to mail this card to will not mind a bit!!! I'm sure she will just be super excited that I have thought of her. The background paper is from Doodlebug Design.

Thanks for dropping by!

Grand Slam Birthday!

Hey, it is Melissa and today is my turn to be here on the Jaded Blossom Blog!!! Yay! I feel like I have been so out of touch with everyone with all the packing last month and my move a couple of weeks ago, but I am so super excited to be back home. Thanks to everyone who asked how things went!!! In honor of being back, I had to make this card for my DT project today!!!

I'm sure I have already mentioned this, but I really love the Sport Dies that came out this month. I also used the new Hey Batter stamp set and the Card Mat Dies on this card. I traced the Royals logo using my Cameo software. I've already been out to the ballpark since arriving home. We moved back here from Cleveland and the Royals were playing the Indians the night I went to the game. Too much fun - especially since my Royals won that night.

My son's birthday is Wednesday, but we will have to wait until next weekend to celebrate as he is at camp for the week. This will be my start to transforming him into a Royals fan. I am also working on my husband!!! Hope you like the card. It would be an awesome card to make with any team's logo to give to your favorite baseball fan!

Thanks for swinging by!!!

You're a Star!

Hope you are enjoying your Tuesday!!! This is Melissa from M Miranda Creations

Today I have a simple card that would be a perfect baby card for a sweet boy! And I'm sure we could find other occasions for it too!

I used the Card Mat Dies and the Superstar stamp set. I also used the Card Front Overlay Stars and the Kawaii Starfish from SVG Cutting Files.

I cut out the background first with my Cameo and then put it through my Cuttlebug with the largest of the Card Mat Dies. I also die cut a piece of yellow cardstock. I then glued both layers together and attached them to the card base. I stamped my sentiment and arranged my stars from the Starfish file on the front attaching them with foam squares.

So glad you came by to have a look!

Hugs,

Dandelions!

It's Melissa from M Miranda Creations and today is my day to share.

I want to share some cards with you that are really simple to make with only a few basic supplies. Sometimes we just need something quick for unexpected occasions or for Just Because moments that will not last long. And sometimes we want to give a card to a friend who is not really into all the frills and such. These cards will work for all those occasion.

Here are my cards:

For all three of them, I used the Dandelions stamp set as my focal. I have been wanting to use this stamp set for awhile, so I am glad it worked so beautifully for these cards. I then found three different Jaded Blossom sentiments that would work with the image. The card bases are all A2 size and made with Papertrey Ink's Vintage Cream cardstock.

The sentiments come from Simple Sayings (With Sympathy), Hey Chickie (Thinking of You), and Encouragement (Sending You Lots of Encouragement).

I used a piece of designer paper from the Authentique 6x6 paper pad called Seasons: Summer. It is full of beautiful yellows and teals! The ink is Evergreen Bough Distress Ink. The panels stamped with the Dandelion images are 2.75 x 2.75". I placed the stamped panels in the same upper left hand corner of each card, but put my sentiments in varying places to give each a slightly different look. And the best part is that the only tools I used for this was my paper trimmer, my inking tool, and some scissors. Now for just a bit of added dimension, I did use craft foam under my panels to pop them off the card; but I don't think it would be necessary.

Another fun way to do it would be to mask off a square right on the paper and use inks to make a background and then add the Dandelion and sentiment. Then remove the mask and you have a completely one layer card.

Hope you have enjoyed today's project!!!

I Think Of You Periodically...

Hi crafty peeps!!!! Candace from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses here! Thanks for stopping in today for some inspiration!! :)

Did you all get a chance to hop with the JB girls and friends in October for Ann's Science Birthday Blog Hop??? If not, you missed out!!! :) There were tons of great projects using the two new science stamp sets!

I can't get enough of them!!!

I used a fun Einstein cutting file from SVG Cutting Files who went perfectly with this sentiment!

If you can tell from the picture, I love to use textured cardstock on my projects. Sometimes stamping on textured cardstock can be a little tricky so I use a SewEasy foam mat to put under my cardstock before I stamp. It helps the image or sentiment to come out crisp and clear. You could also use a mouse pad, if you don't have a SewEasy mat.

Here is what I used to make my card...
Science Matters stamp set from Jaded Blossom
Einstein from SVG Cutting Files
Wavy Card Base from SVG Cutting Files
Queen & Co chevron washi tape from Trendy Twine
Celebration twine from Trendy Twine
- Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!!

Happy Birthday Gift Card

Hi everyone!! Candace here from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses! I have a super cute card to share today!! Ever since I got my Jaded Blossom gift card die, I have been giving out a whole lot more gift cards as gifts!! I decided a Build-A-Bear GC would be perfect for one of my nieces...

I LOVE the Sweet Birthday Wishes stamp set... The sentiment I choose is one of my fav's from the set because I just love the font. I also used the smaller die in the Flag Dies 2 set.

My awesome Bear Shaped Card is from SVG Cutting files. At first I thought I was going to make a brown bear, but I decided to "girl" it up and make a more feminine bear. Isn't she sweet?! Of course she had to have a bow... The Bubblegum Taffy twine from Trendy Twine matched my little bear perfectly.

Don't forget that our current challenge is anything Halloween!! Make sure you link up your projects HERE for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the Jaded Blossom store!!!

May All Your Wishes Come True

Hey everyone!! Candace here from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses! So glad you have stopped by the blog today because I have a super cute card to share!!

My daughter recently had a Cinderella party so I just HAD to make her a princess card!

She LOVED it!!
The Sweet Birthday Wishes stamp set had the perfect sentiment for this card... Actually... This stamp set has had "the perfect sentiment" for a lot of projects I have made lately! I guess that makes this set a must have!!

She got to wish upon a star the night before her birthday, and her wish was that Cinderella would come to her party! I have this card up in her room and she always talks about how her wish came true. :)

Here is what I used to make my card...
- Castle SVG from Miss Kate Cuttables
- Cinderella from the Lettering Delights Happily Ever After set
- Peachy Keen In the Garden face stamps
- banner SVG from Silhouette store

Hope you were inspired by my project today!!
