The Claus' Homestead

 Hello crafty friends, Amanda here and it's my turn to post on the Jaded Blossom Blog!  Today I bring you Mr. and Mrs. Claus busy preparing for the upcoming holiday season!

I used two different patterned papers and added a baseboard using the Border Dies to make a floor and wall. To create a cozy setting I 
used the Fireplace Die and added a festive swag using the Build a Wreath Die (pinecones & greenery) and the Street Lamp Die: Christmas Add Ons (bow).  I created Santa checking his list and Mrs. Claus providing snacks using the Gnome Dies, Girl Gnome Dies, and the Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 1.

Joyful Holiday

It's Larelyn from Handmade From My Heart.

Inspired by my sister crafters, I'm working on Christmas cards in between the fall-themed releases.

I wanted to create a design that would be easy to produce in multiples since my Christmas card list is fairly long.  I also want to practice with stamp layering so this card truly fits my design needs.

I used these Jaded Blossom products:

Holly Bundle stamp set

Joyful stamp set

Panel Dies

Card Mat Dies

After doing the layered stamping using a mini MISTI, I cut the image out on the Scan N Cut2 then added a twine bow and some accents to the veins and berries using Liquid Pixie Dust.

A Sweet Gift

It's Larelyn from Handmade From My Heart, sharing one final quick gift for the holidays.

When you have four teenage boys to gift-give it's not always easy.  Money always seems to be a good idea but I also wanted to add something to make it a little more personal.  How about money taped to the back of a chocolate bar?!

I tried this idea last Christmas and it was well-received so I thought I'd do it again.  For this year's candy/cash treat I used the PINECONE DIE, CHRISTMAS DIES 2, and of course, the CANDY BAR SLIDER DIE.

Mistletoe Kisses ~ a quick card.

This week I'll be sharing a few last minute ideas for Christmas.

 I actually got my cards mailed last week but in
case you need one (or a few) more, here's a simple idea that has a pretty result.

I water colored the background and let it dry then stamped the image from MISTLETOE KISSES.  I filled in a few details using Prisma pencils and a red pen - easy peasy.  I stamped the image again to color and fussy cut the bow for some added dimension but it's not necessary.  Finally, add some sequins and the sentiment.  I also used CARD MAT DIES and RECTANGLE DIES.
