Hello Jaded Blossom Fans!
This is Marlene from ScrappinCookie and I'm today's Jaded Blossom December 2017 Guest Designer. I'm so excited to be here today sharing my project with you all today. For about two years, I've been waiting to create an Advent Calendar for my boys and finally this year with the help of my Jaded Blossom products I was able to put one together.
I made 24 Matchbox Style boxes and layered them with my Jaded Blossom Rectangle Dies 2. Each box is embellished with a Jaded Blossom Die, Stamp, or Both. To add the dates to each of my boxes, I used the Jaded Blossom Alphabet Dies and Alphabet Dies 2.
Today's box - Dec 14 - is dressed up with the Jaded Blossom Gingerbread Wishes Set. The Gingerbread Man was die-cut from Kraft Cardstock and embossed with White Powder. I added the sentiment to a die from the Mini Tag Dies 2. When the kids get home from school we will be baking and decorating some Gingerbread Man Cookies. Yum!
Not only did I use MOST of my Jaded Blossom Christmas Stamps, but I also pulled out my Bunny Mail Stamp Set and combined it with the Christmas Candies (revamped) and Christmas Signs to create an envelope for my December 9th Box. We wrote letters to Santa that day!
I hope my Christmas Advent Calendar has inspired you to create your own calendar.
