Hope Your Halloween Is Crawling With Fun!

Happy Halloween friends! Today, I'm sharing a Halloween card using multiple die sets from Jaded Blossom. I had a lot of fun turning the Stitched Arch Dies into a spooky bookcase!

The sentiment is from Spooky Season Stamp Set. These are all the die sets I used for the items inside the bookcase:

Gnome Dies: Monster Add Ons 2 (Voodoo Doll, Skull, Bone)
Gnome Dies: Graveyard Add Ons (Spiderweb, Spiders next to sentiment)
Gnome Dies: Halloween Add Ons (Jar with green liquid)
Gnome Dies: Sweethearts Add Ons (Mason Jar with bats)
Fall Embellishment Clusters (Pumpkins)
Halloween Embellishment Clusters (Ghosts and Bats in mason jar)
Sentiment Strip Dies (Books)

Remember, we have a "CASE ME" Challenge that runs until November 1st for a chance to win a $20 store gift certificate! You don't have to have a blog to play along. You can load your card to the October Album in the Jaded Blossom's Garden of Creativity Facebook Group or you can upload to the Jaded Blossom Blog!

Have a great weekend!

Trick or Treat Yo' Self

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing one last project in time for Halloween! I'll be focusing on fall and holiday cards soon so I am relishing the last projects of this spooky season!

I created this square card using the Gnome Friends: Ghost Die. I created some boo-tiful cookies by die cutting the ghost die in white cardstock, cutting another ghost with light tan cardstock and layering them together. I chose some colorful cardstock, added some scalloped frame die cuts for the background.

I added a cookie rack die cut and added the ghost cookies to the card. I stamped a sentiment from Ghostly Greetings on a word bubble die and the card is done!

Guest Designer Melissa!

Hi friends! Melissa here with my last post as guest designer for October. Wow! This month flew by but I enjoyed every minute of it and I thank Candace and Michelle and the Jaded Blossom design team for allowing me to create with all of you this month.

My card is a box card that I made with no specialty dies. This was simple to do and although not as full as it could be, it's still just as sweet and will look great on any Thanksgiving table or mantle or wherever the recipient wants to display it. That's the cool thing about box cards, they fold flat for mailing and then stand up to be on display.

I used the Boy Gnome dies and the Thanksgiving Add Ons set. The paper is a great Fall collection from Scrapbook.com. The leaves on the sunflowers are from my stash, I needed something to hide the hands.

Again, I thank you all so much for allowing me to share my love of Jaded Blossom with you this month and I'm sure you'll see me around on the Jaded Blossom's Garden of Creativity Facebook page.

Gnome Tricks, Just Treats!

GNOME TRICKS, JUST TREATS!

Hello crafty friends, Amanda here and it's my turn to post on the Jaded Blossom Blog and I have some fun candy addicts to share with you today!  I made 6 cards with the same theme: 1 boy gnome and 1 girl gnome using green, yellow, and orange backgrounds with a fun candy strip.

I started each card off with cutting out the colored print background using the Card Mat Dies and then also cut a small strip of the candy pattern paper to go on the right side and added a 1/8" mat border before adhering them to an A2 size top folding card base.  I then used the Stitched Square Dies to have a place for my gnomes to sit and added a 1/8" mat border to it before adding it to the background.  Using the Gnome Dies and the Girl Gnome Die I created my little candy addicts and gave them each an irresistible candy bar to eat from the Gnome Dies: S'more Add Ons and then finished it off with a sentiment from the Gnomie Want Candy stamps and coordinating dies!

For the inside I cut out tags from Doodlebug's Hey Pumpkin 6x6 paper pad and added some more candy for my gnomies from the Gingerbread House Die and used a Wink of Stella glitter brush marker to add some fun sparkle to the gumdrops!  I finished it off by using another sentiment from the Gnomie Want Candy stamp set.

Guest Designer Melissa!

Hello friends, Melissa here with another card share. This month is flying by way too quickly! There's so much that I want to share with you and still so much more I want to make.

Although I don't make Halloween cards normally, I couldn't pass up an idea I had in my head. Supplies used:

  • Girl Gnome
  • Gnome Dies: Thanksgiving Add-On's
  • Gnome Dies: Tea Add-On's
  • Gnome Dies: Spooky Add-On's
The paper I used is for the background is a digital print that I purchased from Etsy. The "hey" was made by using a special font. It's so funny to me that I only discovered Jaded Blossom about a year ago and I have a lot of super cute things from them, everytime I get an idea, I scrunch my nose and say to myself, eeehhhh, no, you don't have that. This is what I love about Jaded Blossom, they have reminded me how much I loved paper dolls as a little girl and I can mix & match.

I cut the girl gnome and used the strap and buckle from the Thanksgiving set to make the band on her witch's brim. I cut out the tea kettle from the add on set, the frog and "boo" from the Spooky add on set.
I hope I inspired you to mix and match your dies to create something witch-fully fun and toadally adorable!

Guest Designer Melissa!

Hello! Melissa here with a card style that is currently trending. This is a really easy card to make and it's pretty impressive. But what really makes a card? The focal point, right? I just got the Gnome Friends Owl die and had to play. Before I got it, my mother and I were definitely oohhing and ahhing over it. She said when I got it she wants to see a Christmas card. Well, I'm not quite ready for Christmas, but I did want to create something wintry.

So, here it is. My snow owl card and isn't she the most adorable owl you've ever seen! Oh my gosh, I love her so much!

I die cut in out of white card stock and snipped off the head feathers (whatever they're called - I'm sure there's a name). Then added some gray feathers and these owls have yellow eyes so I made sure to color those in. Viola! Perched her on a snowy branch with some beautiful winter themed patterned paper. I hope you love this card as much as I do!
