Sugar and Spice!

 Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner here today
and I created a sweet baby girl card to share with you.

My daughter asked me to make a card for one of her friends who is expecting a sweet little girl and this stamp from Jaded Blossom called Snips and Snails was perfect for the job!

I started by creating an A2 card base from white cardstock and layering a piece of floral patterned paper on top that I cut out using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2. I stamped my greeting using the Snips and Snails onto a piece of white cardstock and used the Rounded Tag Die to cut it out. I stamped the image again onto a piece of patterned paper and fussy cut the images out so that I could pop them up with foam tape. I used the Rounded Tag Die again to cut out my backing layer, along with the small scallop border, and added a hole protector from the Luggage Tag Dies.  I tied a bit of white cording into a big bow and mounted my tag onto a piece of vellum that I cut out using the Rectangle Dies 2. I was able to pop my vellum up onto my card front, hiding the foam tape behind the tag. I completed my card with a few enamel hearts.

I think this came out so cute!

Guest Designer Amanda

 Hello Crafty Friends!!

I have had so much fun being a Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom this month and sharing my creations and inspiration with you! For my final design I have this super cute birthday card I made for my husband!

With my husband being a firefighter, the Firefighter Add Ons are one of my absolute favorites to play with! I used the Gnome Face Add Ons and Gnome Faces stamp set to give him those adorable eyes and the stereotypical firefighter mustache! My favorite part was creating our dog and having him playfully hanging out in the cloud of smoke that was cut out using the Border Dies 2 and popped up with foam tape. I cut the background and the smoke out using the Card Mat Dies and added a baseboard using the Border Dies, then used the Sound the Alarm stamp set for the sentiment.

Hello Crafty Friends!

I'm so excited to be Guest Designing for Jaded Blossom this month and sharing my inspiration with you!

For today's blog post I have a fun birthday card I made for my mom, it's the pur-fect fit since I always tease her about turning into the crazy cat lady! I used the Girl Gnome Dies and dressed her up with the Hair Add Ons, Halloween Costume Add Ons 2, and a balloon from the Birthday Add Ons. I created the fun sentiment by combining the Alphabet Dies along with the Happy Hello Stamp set and for the background I used the Card Mat Dies and Stitched Oval Dies.

Happy Easter!

Happy Friday everyone! I've been doing a Penguin for all the Seasons/Holidays series using dies from Jaded Blossom because I love penguins as much as I love gnomes. It's so much fun adding these cute penguins to different scenes. Since Easter is this Sunday, I created an Easter card!

To make the adorable penguin, I used
Gnome Friends: Penguin Die and Penguin Faces Stamp Set. The bunny ears headband was created using Gnome Dies: Bride and Groom (headband), and Gnome Dies: Easter Add Ons (ears). The egg is also from Gnome Dies: Easter Add Ons. To create the Easter basket, I used Octagon Treat Box Dies and Octagon Dies: Easter Add Ons. The chocolate bunny is from Octagon Dies: Easter Add Ons. To create the grassy slope, I used Mushroom Dies. The sentiment is from Carrots For Sale Stamp Set.

Remember, we also have a current "ANIMALS" Challenge until May 3rd
for a chance at winning a free stamp set! You don't have to have a blog to play along. You can load your card to the Jaded Blossom's Garden of Creativity Facebook Group and then add your link from Facebook. There are instructions HERE to help you!

Have a wonderful and safe Easter weekend!

Thinking of You

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing a sympathy card! I feel like I never have enough birthday, thank you, or sympathy cards so it's time to stock up. This card is spring themed!

I used Milled Lavender and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks to roughly stamp tulip petals in layers on white cardstock. I also used Bundled Sage and Forest Moss inks for the leaves. I created a bouquet of 3 tulips and stamped the outlines for all of the flowers. I love the intentionally imperfect look of the inks on the blooms!

I layered the stamped cardstock on top of green cardstock and added it to a black card base. I stamped the sentiment from Thinking of You, added some little green jewels to finish off the card.

Bunny Bait!

 Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner here today
and I have one last Easter project to share with you.

I couldn't resist making a little booth to hold some carrot shaped chocolates in.
I started by creating my booth base by using white cardstock and the Build A Booth die, along with the Build A Booth: Treat Box Add Ons. I covered the front of my box with more white cardstock but using the dies that come with the Build A Booth Die to get that awesome wood-grain stitching detail on the pieces, adding some little black enamel dots for the "nails".  I used the Build A Booth: Easter Add Ons to create the little carrot banner on the front. Next, I die cut some letters using the Build A Booth: Alphabet Add Ons to spell out "Bunny Bait" and adhered them to the top of my booth. I built that adorable bunny using the Gnome Friends: Bunny Die, Gnome Friends: Bunny Face Add On and the Bunny Friend Faces. I used the big carrot from the Build A Booth: Easter Add Ons for the carrot she is holding and gave her a little bow with some orange crochet thread to complete my box.

So cute!!

I hope you have a great crafty day!
