You Make Me Happy

Hi friends! It's Julee Tilman popping in today with a little inspiration for your Tuesday. I pulled out an old favorite of mine, the Just Add Marshmallows set and paired it with the Gnome Dies: S'more Add Ons for a just because kind of card.

The image of the cocoa mug was colored with Copic markers, then I cut a slit in the top to tuck in a few marshmallows cut with the Gnome Dies: S'more Add Ons.  I Copic colored one of the large marshmallow die cuts to finish off my focal point.

I used the Card Mat Dies for most of the panels of patterned paper, then pulled out the Happy Hello set for the sentiment strip.  I finished off with a few sparkling enamel dots for accent.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your day is happy!

Happy Bee-Day!!

Happy Monday my crafty friends!!
Lately I have been on a kick of using up my pattern paper collection.
I have been perusing through my collection and allowing the papers inspire me
to create my projects.  Today's card is inspired by paper from the Doodlebug
Design "Simply Spring" 6x6 paper pad.

I used the following Jaded Blossom products on my card today -

I finished up my card with some embellishments also from Doodlebug Design.
Thanks for stopping by today!!

MOO-chas GRASS-ias!

Happy Friday everyone! I bought these individually wrapped Cocoa Creamy Fudge nuggets with a cow on the wrapping and knew I just had to color up the adorable cow that's part of the Cow Patties Stamp Set. Isn't she adorable?!

I used the XL Topper Die with the 5x5 inch Clear Bags to create this candy holder. I added some vintage papers, and inked the edges with brown chalk just to make the edges a little more distressed (that's a tip if you don't have Distress Ink....just use chalk!). I stamped the cow on tan cardstock and colored in parts with Copic markers. The sentiment is from the Cow Patties Stamp Set. To add more dimension, I raised the cow on foam tape.

Remember, you have until May 4th to play along in the current Jaded Blossom Use Warm Colors Challenge
for a chance at winning a free stamp set! You don't have to have a blog to play along. You can load your card to the Jaded Blossom's Garden of Creativity Facebook Group and then add your link from Facebook. There are instructions HERE to help you!

And be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.

Have a great weekend!

We Go Together like Coffee and Chocolate

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing one of my favorite themed projects- coffee! I love a java card and I love to share with friends! So happy to mix and match some of my favorite coffee sets!

The Coffee Stencil is awesome at covering a large surface and it packs such interest. I chose to use Distress Oxides on kraft cardstock. They cover the stencil like butter- smooth and creamy! I chose a teal and brown combo for the background.

I colored up an image from Coffee Tags and used a sentiment from Latte Lover. I die cut a sentiment strip from Mini Tag Dies 3 and its coordinating frame. I punched the coffee image with a circle punch and added a heart enamel dot to finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cupcake Crate Card

 Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner here today and I wanted to share with you a fun little goody box that also doubles as the birthday card that I made for my daughter!

Here is a look at what I created:

I created my cupcake by using the Cupcake Slider Die and some fun patterned papers from Doodlebug, along with some solid Brown and White cardstock. Once I had my cupcake built, I used the So Many Birthdays 4 and stamped my sentiment using some Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I cut it out using the Label Shape Dies 2, added a little enamel heart and popped it up onto my cupcake with foam tape. I wrapped some crochet thread around and tied it off with a bow.

I used the Crate Die and made a little crate from white cardstock, attaching it to the back of my Cupcake Slider. How fun! This way I could have a birthday card and little candy surprise all rolled into one!

I used the Border Dies and cut a piece of brown cardstock to add a little decorative separation between the brown and white layers on the slider.

When you pull out the slider it reveals a sweet birthday message from the Nom Nom stamp set.

Plenty of room to still be able to write a message to the recipient!
I love the Cupcake Slider Die and I think it makes the cutest shaped birthday cards!
Adorable!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Be Happy

Hi friends! It's Julee and it's my day to share a little Jaded Blossom inspiration on the blog. I've been feeling a little lackluster lately in the creative department.  When that happens, I like to get back to basics and just do some good old fashioned stamping and coloring.

This Rainbow Doodle image had yet to see ink, so I stamped it and the sentiment out in Mememto ink and got to work coloring them up with Copic markers. I added a few accents with a white gel pen, a clear stardust gel pen, and some glossy accents.

Since I had so much going on with all the happy colors, I decided to go with the Sunburst Card Mat Die in yellow, inlaid with white cardstock so the focus could be on the image.  I added both the image and sentiment on dimensional foam tape, then finished off with some aqua glimmer drops.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastically happy day!
