Lucky Vibes!

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

Stacey from Stacey's Creative Corner here today
and I created a St. Patrick's Day themed card to share with you.

To create my card, I started by creating a white A2 cardbase and adding a yellow layer that I cut out using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 on top. Next I used the Window Card Mat Die and cut it out of some white cardstock, as well as 2 different patterned papers. I added the white frame on top of my yellow scallop panel and filled in the windows with the patterned papers. I used the Octagon Dies to cut out a piece of Vellum and then heat embossed my sentiment, from the Lucky Vibes stamp set, with some black embossing powder. I built my pot of gold using the Gnome Dies: Pot Of Gold Add Ons and added it above my sentiment. I was able to hide some foam tape behind the pot so that my Vellum piece could be raised up off of my card front for a little dimension. I completed my card by adding a little four leaf clover that I cut out using the Build A Booth: Clover Add Ons and a little green enamel heart.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I really appreciate it!

I hope you have a great crafty day!

Pot of Gold

Hi friends! It's Julee here, and I have a fun card to share with you today! I'm a little obsessed with the pot of gold from the Gnome Dies: Pot of Gold Add-ons. It's the perfect size for both cards and treat making! Here I used it for a quick card along with the fabulous Triangle Card Mat Die. I chose some gingham prints in rainbow colors for the background, then added the pot of gold created with black and gold cardstock.  I finished off with a sentiment from Lucky Vibes cut with the coordinating outline dies.  Easy peasy!

I shared this little chocolate treat box on my blog during sneak peeks, but thought I'd share it again here, since it's a different way to use the pot of gold dies. Lindor chocolates are a favorite at our house, and my son calls them chocolate fat balls, since they're high in fat. LOL. He's a bit of a chocolate connoisseur, and his favorite are the extra dark. They just happen to have black and gold labels, perfect for a St. Patrick's Day treat!

I used two pot of gold die cuts, cutting a hole in the center of one with the coin die from the same die set. I then made a little platform to hold them together by cutting cardstock approximately 1-3/8" x 2.5", scoring 3/8" on each of the long ends, then gluing between the two pots. I cut the coins from gold cardstock, then added the Lindor chocolate behind the hole and glued the two pieces together at the top. You can still reach through the side to get the chocolate out.

The sentiment is from the Clovers for Sale set, and I embossed in gold, then cut with the rectangle from the Build a Booth die set and matted with gold cardstock.  I used the clover balloon and string dies from the Gnome Dies: Pot of Gold Add-ons to make a little sign, then finished with the 17 cents die cuts from the Build a Booth: Clover Add-ons.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! May the luck o' the Irish be with you!
